In India, you can't really survive unless you're already reach and in today's society in order to be considered rich, you should have at least a few crores of liquid cash in your bank account. That's why leaving India and settling down to other countries now makes much more sense than ever. When you leave, I hope you'll be sending money to your parents and remember money makes life easy. You can buy your parents a flat and hire someone to look after them when you're away. Indian is doomed! Studied in Canada, working and earning here as an Engineer. In India I wouldn't have been able to afford the things which I currently own now. Also, I get benefits from the taxes here and living in a clean, non polluted environment. Best decision ever. Sad to say this. Left India during UPA rule 15 years ago, surrendered Indian citizenship 6 years ago. Never regretted it. The problem is not just politicians and government but the people themselves and their priorities. Us desh ko danda maar ke theek karnewala chahiye but even that's too late now. Many say you are a coward for running away but call me whatever you want, any rational thinking person can't survive there and nobody can change that country anymore. There was a chance for change when British were still around, now even god himself can't save that country. People are happy living in the past while aspiring to be a future superpower.
The issue is about westernisation british had left with western culture includes language, night life, posh living. But India is very different from all. it has cultural values moral values family values etc but now indian youth are not interested in anyof those and want to move out of the country to get more income, become rich and settle so that they see them as upgraded citizens. Our youth is completely spolied by our parents not teaching the true value of bharat only conserned of standard and posh living 😢

It’s safe, pollution free, no nosy people around, free healthcare, people have been nice to me - just what I wanted. I’m also eligible for citizenship now. But I miss my family so thinking of moving back 😢 To anyone living in India and wanting to leave let me tell you grass looks always greener on other side. If you're doing good in India, think many times before leaving India. Things aren't as rosy as it seems right now in abroad (US, UK, Canada, Australia). Jobs aren't that easy to get as earlier. Inflation and housing problem is there too. If you're threatened, doing poor in India then you can move.

I left India 4 years ago and am happy in Turkey. 2004 to 2014 people were coming back to India. There was hope and dreams. Now there are only achche din😂 Since Modi came to power 2 families had too much achche din. Law and order problem corruption high taxes unemployment inflation for rest of us. The brain drain will hurt India for decades to come. Either India will throw these people out or it will have a civil war. I don't see any other outcome.

The issue is about westernisation british had left with western culture includes language, night life, posh living. I’m living in Canada for past 3 years. I love my job here it’s perfect definition of work life balance. It’s safe, pollution free, no nosy people around, free healthcare, people have been nice to me - just what I wanted. I’m also eligible for citizenship now. But I miss my family so thinking of moving back 😢
To anyone living in India and wanting to leave let me tell you grass looks always greener on other side. To move and settle in another country it’s a huge challenge and not as rosy as it looks. Be happy where you are. Your home is where your family is

Canada is no better, after living for almost 13 years, we are moving out. Free health care, have you had a first hand experience, the wait time for any specialist is unreasonable! We live in a small town and housing is still expensive!

If you're doing good in India, think many times before leaving India. Things aren't as rosy as it seems right now in abroad (US, UK, Canada, Australia). Jobs aren't that easy to get as earlier. Inflation and housing problem is there too. If you're threatened, doing poor in India then you can move.
