Bit of a heads up my channel's been running slow lately if anybody wants to watch TH-cam videos please watch mine
Add a variable valve on the firebox air intake. You can then keep its temp down to 200 or even lower. This will help prevent over-pressure.
Also you should add pumps to increase steam pressure into the engine, as well as pumps pulling cold steam out of the engines.
For the safety overpressure valve you should have 2, one at a lower pressure (9.5) that bypasses the engine returning steam to the condensers, and the second at a higher pressure (9.8) to protect against the first not being enough. That way you waste less water.
If you control temperature and fluid level in the boiler, it should never need a pressure release. If using pumps, you do not need boiler pressure over 5.

I'm pretty sure they changed how the pressure works I've been getting up to the 20s, unless it's just caus. I have cheats but idk

I would love to see you make a new steam train using the new Wheels and also maybe I wonder what would happen if you tried to do another one from a new one like two types of it one with a single boiler and one with a dual boiler

@@sirenheadbutnot in the end he asked if you wanted us to have him make a full train with this this he was just doing it as a test but what he wanted to know if if we wanted him to do it as a like full build and I think it would be cool if he had it with two boilers as one type and another one with a single boiler
The reason you're wheel slipping is cuz you put the thoutle to high when you're not moving, you need to put it at 15-30 persent to start then ez up slowly.
Unfortunately they slip anyway :P

There's actually 18 preserved, most of which in Running Condition though some are currently getting their Boiler Tickets renewed. They were Nicknamed the "Black Five" due to their Black Livery. Best known as the Basis for Henry from "Thomas the Tank and & Friends". If you're a Harry Potter fan, then the King-class 4-6-0 like the Hogwarts Express might be for you!

I know that this is not a video about the aircraft carrier but I have an idea for your plane. On your plane you should add the ability to dive bomb like how the stukas dive bomb where the bomb is sort of shot off the bottom of the plane to avoid collision with the propeller
So far the method i use for making these train wheels work is attach a motor to a smaller set of wheels in front and use those ones for propulsion, and im soon to figure out how to use them properly

I'm starting work on my first engine in a series of them that'll get me to a 4-8-6 (one of my previous comments called it a 6-8-4, however, I like the look of the 4-8-6 better), it's a 2-6-4T, so a small switcher. Might make some container wagons too, and start on the 4-8-6's auxiliary APU tender (yes, my 4-8-6 Outlaw is going to have 2 tenders).
the best way to regulate pressure in steam engines, is to cut the water flowing into the boiler, and let in the proper amount.
release valves stop working if the boiler works quicker than the venting...
You do not want to wait for the boiler to go over 200 psi unless it's to release some steam.
It would be cool to see you update the steam loco you made a few months ago

you could do it so that you can manually do the whistle and if you forgett to do hte whistle on the drive it does it automaticly
just get rid of the condenser because you actually dont really need it. or add a sort of "choke" to the firebox so that doesnt get too hot
“Why are they slipping?” it’s because you opened the throttle (regulator) too far too soon. Open it at about 10 to start then gradually increase to 100!

You should have a build series where you make the best train possible and have one or a few other people (me, other subs, or other youtubers) also try to build one and have a competition once everyone is done.
We need something like a small steam generator to produce a little bit of current.

Can you show how to make those new wheel drive pistons faster? mine is only at ~12mph, wich is very slow, i added pumps and such already, but my train don`t drive faster. No problems with steam Turbines, but the wheel Pistons confusing me. And do i realy need a Condenser?

Weigh may be reason, really-express locos had small wheels, they were light and fast, but freight ones, different story. Gigantic wheels and they were very heavy-take look at Mallard(fastest) and Big Boy(most powerful freight loco?)
