I remember seeing wee Jinky in the graveyard in Viewpark standing at a grave with a set of Rosary Beads praying I think it was his parents grave… the wee man now at rest there himself RIP Jinky
I normally watch these live but I had to take the wife to see Pink at Hampden this week. I could listen to Joe all day talks a lot of sense and has a great knowledge of the game and it's criminal that nobody's giving him a chance at management. He was a smashing wee player for Celtic and Aberdeen and he's a top man too. I've got so many memories of him but he'll always be remembered for his goal in the '89 cup final against the currant buns and that's not a bad legacy to leave behind, God bless him and all the ACSOM team too and every single Celtic supporter on the planet HH
Joe miller met you when you win the Cup against rangers the whole team what an experience i never forget it what aa amazing day and i will never forget it was immense remember the throw in then j
Really enjoyed wee Joe’s memory’s on his football career fascinating listening, his goal in the cup final against Rangers was a standout for me and my family , great memories cheers Joe😊 great show Paul John and the guys.👍🏻🍀☘️🫶🏻
I wonder if Joe remembers the game I watched at lesser Hampden against Queen’s Park for the Celtic reserves. Think he was on his way back from injury. They won 9-0 Joe scored 5. One of the best individual performances I have ever seen. Unreal !!
Wow thats a blast from the past I loved Joe as a player when I was a young boy all the celtic team were my heroes bit joe was definitely up there with mcstay as my favourites as well as frank great content guys 👍
Good to see all of you guys particularly Joe , remember saying to my mates at Celtic Park v Aberdeen , wish we could sign him , he could do a bit of damage for the Celtic , ye did the tic proud mate , it was a pleasure watching you wreck defences over the years 😀 HH
I remember Mills as well and a lad called Park (maybe Parks) who was good as well. I was in 5th year and they and Joe were in 6th year and we used to play 5th v 6th year on the gravel pitch between St MAry's and St Mungo's. It was always really competitive - to say the least!
Enjoyed that, I can remember being over from Dublin for a Rangers game late 90s, can't remember if Joe was with Aberdeen or Dundee Utd but they were staying in our hotel. Think we got pumped, got out of town, back to hotel to drown our sorrows, ended up fairly wild in the end...that wild one of the boys woke up next morning with the bauld Joe beside him in the bed 😂
i remember watching super joe Miller when playing for Aberdeen under alex ferguson, he would destroyed us every time he came down to paradise in Aberdeen most successful era when they dominated scottish football. i was at paradise watching celtic v partizan belgrade when jackie score 4 goals and we still went out of europe on the away goals and super joe miller played that night it was a great game to be at atmosphere was amazing inside the old paradise that night
Loved watching wee Joe down the wing looking on fae the Jungle. Interview got me thinking of players who played for Celtic & Aberdeen. Charlie Nic, Derek Whyte, Billy Stark, big Roy, Scales, Niall Mcginn, Magee, Barry Robson, J Hayes, Broonie, Ryan Christie, John Hewitt, Charlie Mulgrew. Please add others.
Wee Joe is an amazing person. All good. Was it Peter Grant that saved him grooming jumping in to the Rangers end after that goal ? Wee man never hid away , good game ,bad game he took the ball . A very underrated player.
By the way , Tommy Burns was famous for saying to Rangers players ,during the heat of the derbys. "Right, that was a good touch ,relax into the game. Real fitba men were actually real then ,wee Joe is exactly that .
That was great there see after listening to Joe there a boy that lived the dream playing for the club what comes to mind is family ie the celtic family even after his playing career was done hes probably back on the terraces watching the team, what a knowledge he has about football inside knowledge celtic could be doing with joe in beside Johnny hayes was it that got a youth coaching role with the club Joe would've been great at that role either the job itself or a partnership with Johnny.
One of my earliest Celtic childhood memories was Joe scoring v rangers in the 89 cup final. Used to recreate that goal with my pals down the park. Bagsie Joe miller Ok you can go Gary Stevens 😂
When I was at Blairs college in Aberdeen, Bobby Clark would take training. The first team would come to train there on occasion. Did joe ever make the trip?
I like Joe's take on Brendan Rodgers. I enjoyed the two years under Ange, but it also annoyed the hell out of me, the sloppiness in possession was never being addressed. Brendan's first year back it still exists, but I really don't believe this is his team the way he wants it. Ange got destroyed in Champions League and my biggest disappointment of him leaving was because I believe if he gave us Celtic and the CL one more season he could have moved on to a much bigger club than Spurs. He knows he is not getting younger and he gambled. For half a season in EPL everyone was raving about Angeball, and pooff it disappeared. If you give the ball away stupidly you get it back. We have been lacking that for three seasons and you can see it any game. Also looking at the players Ange was bringing in when he left, would we have won the league, nobody will ever know. You never know, if Ange doesn't last long in the lions den next season he could become Scotland Manager.
Love how wee Joe smiles as soon as he mentioned Jinky🥰💚great interview PJ and the new holy goalie Jerry👏👏👏

Another brilliant episode, I have learned more new things about our club in five episodes than I have in decades. Brilliant!
Loved Joe as a player, great hearing him talk.

Absolutely phenomenal interview....got a wee bit emotional with wee JJ stories
Joe was in my class at St Mungos, and I also had the privilege of playing a good few games with the school team with him and Derek Mills.

Joe played my age group but was the youngest. Remember him playing for Scotland under 16s at Cappielow against Northern Ireland.
