- Yeah, it's a 14 second PB.. but I've been struggling HARD lately with Any% runs, so I'm glad I got a new personal record either way :)

Hey all, I just wanted to mention that this was my last PT speedrun, as I moved on to other things.
I apologize if that's disappointing to some people, but I found that running the game at this point was pretty stressful, there's too much to keep in mind and tricks to perfect just to save a few seconds, and it became too much of a burden for me.
I'm happy to have participated in the speedrun community if only for a bit, discovering skips/strats and helping other runners out, I'm very thankful for the good times.. And thanks to everyone who watched the runs :)
You sure went out with a bang, good luck on everything else you do!

Fun fact:at the start of the noise fight he is vulnerable to being attacked but you can’t get to him quick enough
(I assume he just hit him during that time where he is vulnerable)
@@Cowboybeardie you actually can get to him with like one frame. You can either press grab and down to get to him, or spam grab as soon as it starts

There’s people who deserve attention but don’t get it
I like to believe that the rematch with The Noise during the final boss fight in this speedrun is how it happened canonically. Peppino just does not give him the time of day and beats him nearly to death in 20 seconds.
Jesus Christ the amount of skips and tricks done for the sake of optimization is crazy and I never stop being impressed by it. Well done Jeol!

This is my first time watching a speedrunner, but this is actually insane the gameplay is so fast (even for Pizza Tower, which is notoriously known for its momentum-based gameplay)

I just imagine what its like to speedrun like this and be afraid of every miss, when I played more than two levels I didnt pass because I was stressed after every time
P rank runs pretty much prepare you mentally cause a single mistake and combo drop leads to a TON of resets. I have a feeling getting hit by the bosses and not having to worry was catharsis.

From what I can see, the largest slowdowns are in Oregano Desert and Ancient Cheese, and that's just from a few glaring mistakes that can be cleaned up on future attempts.

Don’t know for sure so don’t take my word for it, but this is what I think:
Parrying makes you invincible and kills the enemies on top of you. So what I imagine is that you parry the attack, pushing you into the rat, but because you’re still parrying the game sees the rat as an enemy and kills it?
edit: fixing dumb autocorrect
He parried a projectile next to the rat, which kills the rat because the game has the rat as an enemy.
But you can’t parry the rat himself.
@@Phoeboithats incorrect, the bombs the chicken throws have the ability to kill the rat. You can do this trick without a parry as well, however standing right in front of the rat and parrying the bomb so you dont get hit yourself is faster

The actual great thing is that you can actually, and only beat the game in 1 hour! Unlike some others where can just skip or cheese it.

you can skip 9 toppins in the entire game, and oh shit is the LONGEST...level in the game, makes sense to skip it (and also this is an any% speedrun)

Super impressive run, I just want to know something, though. Why do you skip Oh Shit!? Is it like the longest level, or is there some other reason? I get that you can skip a level and still have enough Toppins, but I swore Gnome Forest or some other level would take more time to complete than Oh Shit!
If I have my facts straight, I believe it's because it has the longest escape sequence
-That and the sticky-cheese ability is extremely slow and tedious, as well as the pipes being a set speed
Oh Shit takes the longest out of every other level, even if you skip some toppins I think.
