This makes me think of Amy Doyle, she is married and gone forever. All I have is our memories, and bittersweet memories.
This music calms me. I really love this piece as it helps me to focus especially when I am studying. I don't think that there is any kind of music out there that will ever compare to this piece of music.

as a student many years ago, I read a reference - Satie wrote a piece for his composition class titled, I think, "Sonata in the shape of a Pear" because his instructor said his works "had no form".

@@rocioaguilera3613 Bare feet is a bit off. Check Britannica and Wikipedia. It does have to do with being entirely naked and unencumbered which says a lot more than bare feet.

Madonna and all the other junk feel like they last for ever. Satie is trying to bring back your sanity.
This is what I was looking for, the three Gymnopedies played repeatedly. But I don't like the performer's infuriating tempo changes in this version. It's driving me nuts!
