Amazing. Burgas is AMAZING. I live there, and I have been to all Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna multiple times, and I can tell you, Burgas is SO MUCH Better than all of them. It is the best place to live in Bulgaria. We have mountains close to us and we have beaches and I know some people like Plovdiv because of its old city, (I dont know how to say it exactly in english, but the part of the city with REALLY old buildings and shops) But close to Burgas, there is Sozopol. A small but REALLY famous city for summer vacation. It is one of the oldest BIG cities and it also has and old area. Even tho it is smaller then Plovdiv's, it is so much better, especially if you are walking by the sea. the only problem is there are A LOT of people there during the summer

We left Burgas when I was a child many many years ago, but I try to get there every year. I absolutely love Burgas. Amazing city, great people, food is awesome, and the beach is beautiful. Thank you for the video. Well done.

The cause of the disgusting smell from Lake Vaya in Burgas has been revealed

Over the past week, institutions have received numerous reports of unpleasant odors emanating from Lake Vaya near Burgas. This provoked an inspection by environmental inspectors of the Burgas municipality.
During inspections, no local sources of pollution were identified. However, the presence of significant amounts of dead algae in various stages of decomposition was discovered. The reason for the large number of dead algae is a dry and hot summer season with consistently high temperatures, in many cases above average, experts say.
This is a better outcome than the rumours were going around the community!
