Bhai capacitor series main laga kar kabhi bass increase nahin hoga parallel main lagane se hoga. Capacitor ek high pass filter hota hai. Chhota capacitor upar ki frequency (treeble) ko allow karta hai. Usse bada capacitor upar ki frequencies ke sath kuch niche ki frequencies add kar deta hai yani uper ki frequencies ka frequency band barh jata hai. Is tarah se jaise jaise capacitor ki value barate jange us tarah se uper ki frequencies (treeble) ka frequency band neeche ki taraf ko(toward lower frequencies) barta jaega.
Bhai...mere pass Mivi ka S100 sound bar hai. 100 watts with sub woofer in a sound bar. Isme bass over power aa raha hai and lower sounds sunayi nahi de raha..Iska circuit dekha toh two pin ka Bass naam se ek connector hai circuit mei. Kuch kar sakte hai kya bass ko reduce karne keliye?

If you use capacitor in parallel it will be shorting the higher frequencies. Wasting power and possibly overloading the Amplifier. You should learn why capacitor coupled single supply amplifiers are replaced by the dual supply push-pull direct coupled amplifiers. The transformer coupled amplifiers are also a thing of past because they suffered from the output transformer core saturation in low frequencies and made bad low frequency responses. I used to know these things when I was studying 8th standard, in school, back in 1998. In today's internet world it so easy to learn things. Please don't misguide people without knowing what are you really doing.

Cap in series in a woofer? Foolish! Use copper wire wound coil in series. Cap filters out low frequency and is used(series) ONLY in twitter. And nothing increases bass or treble. You can only filter out these from your speaker.
