This is great - I wish they still made those type of pianos. Good old style music - I remember learning many of the oldies on the piano and hearing my grandmother sing them.
Thank you so much brings back sad and beautiful memories,i had a Marshall and Rose that i completely refurbished,it was immaculate, correct stool and 300 odd rolls, yours is great, sad because i sold mine 40 tears ago (no.!not a spelling mistake)thanks again for bringing so much pleasure, blessings.
In the movie "Bringing up Baby," this song is a favorite of Baby... who happens to be a leopard! To calm Baby, Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant must sing the tune throughout the film, which is most hilarious. :) Nice to hear it on a piano roll. Thank you for posting!
A great tune and your piano plays it beautifully, plus has outstanding tone. My dad often told the story of he and his neighbor buddy leaving a dance and found snow falling outside, plus a flat tire on his Model T. Dad changed the tire and his buddy sat in the back seat with arms around two girls singing, "I can't give you anything but snow, baby!"
My mom used to have (or probably still does) a Phantom Foley album, all music like this!! Nothing short of sensational!

Thanks for the view. Glad you like the music!

Your rolls make my day, I play at least one every day and share them with my friend who plays piano, and she loves them too!! Real Music!!!
Thanks.... Roll Of The Day.... now there is a thought... :)
I'm ALL for it!!
George R. Eaton I used to do an audio version before TH-cam was the rage and I had a decent camera... lol
I like to watch the roll moving and the keys operating. It is mesmerizing!

That's a lot to give - about all there is when it comes down to it. Nice roll............
LOVE the sound of that piano!!
Thank you sir !
This song was written by Jimmy McHugh (music) and Dorothy Fields (lyrics).
@HM0880 Yes, I forgot the last word in the title... Baby... It is such a classic song I had to include it. Thanks for viewing!
Kudos to your piano tuner! A really nice job! :)
Yeah, I like him. Now if I can just record more right after tuning and not wait until the winter takes its' toll. Thanks for your kind comments.
Interesting that it's in G, as I have published sheet music in that key. I suppose that's its original key?
Not sure, but most of these rolls seem to be in E or Eb.
I have the same Imperial roll which I posted on TH-cam myself. I'm thinking that it's a J. Lawrence Cook arrangement.
woow
Probably so. Most all rolls of that late era on Imperial were done by him. My question was to the actual composition. Thanks for the view Jim.
@maryjm1964 Thanks, glad it brings back memories.. :)
@aknabea You are very welcome sir, as usual.. :)
Are you working the foot pumps or the standard pedals?
Foot pumps. Piano is totally vacuum operated. The piano pedals work with the hand levers.
@HarborGuy Maybe the Beatles were right. Naw.... you need music also... LOL
