VAC or Valve anti cheat is a so called "usermode" anti cheat. A usermode AC doesn't have much control over your Computer to check what you download for example if you download cheats unlike a kernel anti cheat. They are known for something called "signature" detections. Every cheat has a binary code and if this binary code is stored in the anti cheat's database that means the players with that code running in their game will get VAC banned because they are cheating. Problem is that Valve is a private company and they can basically do whatever they want with their products, in this case with TF2, they don't update the anti cheat's database to detect new and undetected cheats. And this has been happening for the past 8 years. Now we have confident cheaters using unusuals and australiums on their main account cheating without a care in the world
The last part of the video provoke a thought in me. Tf2 has so many cheaters that there might be players that cheat, just againt cheaters. For attention or what ever they want to prove. This whole tf2 cheater situation is very interesenting cuz it seem like on other multiplayer has the big of a % of cheaters/bots. I might be wrong but who knows maybe there'll be people like this that want to take some power into their hands and cheat against cheater. Very intresenting. Great video
