Now THIS is a ride! This is the first time I seen something like this. Amazing! I don't know why more parks don't have this. Granted I am assuming it is old and the company that made them is no longer in business, but this is cool! It reminds me of the Flying scooters.
Yeah, I never seen one of these before. But from the look of it, I wouldn't be surprised that it is made by the same company that makes the Flying Scooters. It looks like it operates on a similar principle. Oh yeah, if I would go down there to Lake Winnie, I would be on this and the Cannonball all day. I have to say the Cannonball is probably the most 'textbook' of an out and back coaster as you can get. It's actually 'artistic' in its design. The beautifully shaped hills. Amazing. What more is that the park takes well care of it too. I bet it rides great too. One day I have to get down there and ride it and that airplane ride too. Looks like a great little park. It very much reminds me of Lakemont Park in Altoona, PA. They have a nice out and back coaster too and also very old, but well maintained rides. In fact they have the world's oldest operating roller coaster, Leap The Dips. GREAT park! The food is great there too.
Well, it is a bit far for me since I am in NY. But I have seen MANY rollercoasters and ridden quite a few and I have to say the Cannonball is one of the nicest looking Out and Back coasters I have ever seen.
I'm from another dimension we didn't have this ride at the Lake Winnie I grew up around. I was at Lake Winnie last year in 2016 and it wasn't there either and was surprised today to find out that it's supposedly from WW2 and it's been at the park a very long time. I know theme-parks change over time, but the park was slightly different in my reality, slightly. Anyone remember the Himalaya and the Clown house?
Yes he told me that too, but two ride operators told me that specific ride has been there a very long time. There is a lot of strange glitches in reality at this time. Like the Amelia Earhart conspiracy that's cropped up in the last two weeks. Full stories of people who saw her in jail and even captured her airplane. But I'm not here to wake anyone, I'm just passing through. Shalom
I rode it 3 weeks ago but couldn't get it to do a 360 only to hang upside down :(. Does anyone know any techniques? Because I had it all the way to one side
It took me a few rides to get it to roll upside down several times. You have to shift your body weight in a way to keep the momentum going once you are rolling to get it to keep rolling and/or roll faster.
I was on a field trip there and me and the girl with me where to weak to turn the plane so we where stuck sideways on my side and the girl next to me was crying and I was holding her. She was a complete stranger
These things are very painful with two people in them. Once I rode it by myself, it is a lot more comfortable and easier to maneuver the plane. I had it rolling about 6 or 7 times in a row once!
Ok so I rode this.. The first time I rode it I didn't know better so I rode in the same plane as my sister, SUCH A MISTAKE.. She was heavier than me so we were just leaning on the right the whole time, a nightmare
That is what happened when my girlfriend and me rode the first time..which was together. This is not a 2 person ride. It got painful riding just on the one side the whole time with barely any control. Definitely much easier by myself!!
I rode this years ago… I was up in the air then I heard my mother yelling in fear saying “straighten up your plane! stop the ride! Her door isn’t locked!” My plane was stuck on its side which to where the door was facing toward the ground. I saw my door was cracked open though the strap like bar that went over my lap was the only thing keeping the door from flinging open my main lock from outside of the plane was not locked and the worker didn’t check it. Let’s just say… holding onto the side window of the plane while being able to see on how far of a fall that would be to hit concrete… freaked me out.
+Uriel Morales Ya, it's called Twister and is at the front of the park. They were having some trouble with it Opening Day though so we didn't get to ride it. It looks pretty cool though!
I remember when I was too young to ride this bitch and I never actually got to see it.. my brother and sister just ran up to me and was like "THE PLANES ARE SO COOL WE GOT TO GO UPSIDE DOWN" And I just had to sit there and be jealous lmao.
rtraveler2004 yeah, I rode this and they don't really buckle you up very well, there are like bolts exposing on the inside of the plane and I got punched over and helllllllllll did that poke me, hurt for days

Lake Winnie was amazing! I think this is what we ended up doing most of the day...the planes and Cannonball. Cannonball is a great classic!

Cannonball is a true classic. We rode it a good 10 times while here! Loved it!

Me and my friends went to lake Winnie a week ago and my friend and sis got on it and my friend tried steering it but it got stuck upside down
It is much more difficult to steer and maneuver with 2 people in those things.
