All of Oni's (or Shin Oni as known when played against in the secret extra battle) opening scene quotes for every character in Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (Version 2012), in the order that they appear on the character select screen; starting from Ryu and finishing with Rose.
Recorded using the fraps (gaming) screen recorder. Edited in Sony Vegas Pro11

Akuma fucking hates Bison with a burning passion. I'm not surprised that Oni, the literal embodiment of killing intent, would really try to make those words hurt.

@@traviscurbelo2000 If I believe correctly, M.Bisons powers started as everyone elses, through martial arts training. He learned about psycho power, the negative version of soul power (The thing Rose uses and I will assume Menat too), this power feeds on negative emotion, and doe it is not purely evil (Ed and Falke use it for good intentions),it requires the user to lose all positive emotion to achieve its fullest potential, which Bison did, causing his white pupils and incredible powers. A part from his powers, he created a empire of of sealing drugs and weapons manufacturing to increase it's power over the world and himself while developing technological enhancements and spare bodies for himself (like the dolls or Seth). The thing is, Akuma (And therefore Oni) hate Bisons guts both because he cheats to increase his power with cibernetics and spare bodies and his attempts to conquer the world also anger Akuma, who believes this things to be pointless compered to achieving true power through effort and sacrifice, to the point Akuma killed him in Street fighter 2, though of course he returns because why not.
I love all of these... specially I wasn't really expecting him to say something as brutal as "Time to skin this jaguar" lol

Oni is Akuma when he's completely become one with the Satsui no Hado. Shin Akuma is close, but officially Shin Akuma is Gouki when he's using his maximum potential and "almost" one with the Satsui no Hado.
idk, Oni seems alot more in control in comparison to Evil Ryu who also fell to the Hado. Shin is more speratic and feral like ER
Thats not true, because Oni is akuma’s version of Kage, its when the hado escape the body and becomes a souless sihlouette, or what akuma calls “a shadow”

Whilst Kage is a sentient physical manifestation of the Satsui no Hado within Ryu after he overcame its influence; Oni is the eventual fate of Akuma (taken from Rose's win quote against Oni, where she states he was not meant to show up until later). As per Capcom even their descriptions are different, whereas Kage named himself after separating from Ryu, Oni is described as "Akuma becoming one with the Satsui no Hado."
So in short, while Ryu and Kage are now separate entities in the physical realm. Akuma and Oni are one and the same, the latter being the former's eventual fate.

Marginally better than Dave Mallow's initial performance as Akuma, but it makes me wonder why the directors couldn't take cues from Mallow's past performance as Angemon/MagnaAngemon in the first two Digimon series; now THAT's one hell of a deep and imposing voice.

actually i think Oni isn't Akuma, like they said in his intro hes evil incarnate, that means it's demon/ogre from japanese folklor from hell that has been reborned in some old tree. then he fought ryu and used on him his ultra 2 move in heart that turned ryu into evil.

Considering that according to Rose Oni is inevitable and his appearance in 4, while non-canon, is merely him appearing early 6 would be a good place to introduce him in canon.

Too bad nobody's uploaded a video with Japanese Boss Oni quotes.
English dubs make everything cheesy...For example, Oni's intro quote is supposed to be "Pathetic is he, who has no appreciation of the distance between heaven and earth." (天地の隔たりを见极められぬとは 哀れなり). Also Evil Ryu's 'violence is who I am' is supposed to be 'Rhythm of the heart...Cease.' (心の臓 止めてくれる) With english it loses all of its poetic quality.
