Overall, my takeaway from this video (plus other videos) is to
-- run upright - ears, shoulders, and hips should be aligned vertically
-- breath deeply into the belly
-- avoid both hell strikes and running on toes - a midfoot strike is optimal
-- cadence, stride length, and foot strike are all interrelated
-- allow head to shift laterally for balancing the hip movement
For sprinting, the main differences are that
-- forward lean (at the ankles, not at the hips) becomes desirable at high speeds
    -- foot strike moves forward
1:50 - Ears, shoulders, and hips should be vertically aligned (ear angle is controlled by neck joint, shoulder angle is controlled by back).
4:38 - Angel vs. zombie drill
5:37 - Foot should land under hip (this is also related to cadence)
    6:53 - Could jump rope
7:22 - Avoid leaning forward (except for sprinting)
7:50 - Avoid forward leaning - should be able to wiggle toes. Forward shift is OK - 60/40 in the foot with ability to wiggle toes.
    10:33 - Avoid hip dropping
    11:10 - Allow head to shift side-to-side
11:45 - head over foot drill
    12:00 - shift head

One of the coolest things about exploring running since I’ve been learning from Lawrence is that the art is creatively expressed by doing- and I’m just noticing myself naturally craving that self-exploration in running. And almost like it’s a dance- it’s quite exquisite!

This video is speaking my language! 🏃‍♂💡
Funny thing, I've been pounding the pavement for a good nine years, swearing by the "push harder, get faster" motto. But, truth be told, it only got me so far.
Before stumbling upon this video, I'd already been rethinking my whole approach. The realization hit me out of the blue - it's not just about putting in more effort; it's about running smarter.
I was fixated on the feeling of pushing hard, never giving much thought to the mechanics. But hey, I'm not alone in this journey! The emphasis on running technique in this video totally resonates with the lightbulb moment I had.
And there's more to it than just the way you move - the ATP, aerobic systems, and cardiovascular efficiency were revelations for me too.
Thanks so much for sharing this video!

Synchronizing your upper( shoulder , arms) and lower( hip, legs) is done by your abs , your abs initiate and synchronize the move cross your body, upper and lower !!!! Concentrate on your abs movement, keep them engaged and working, your upper and lower will follow! 😂😂😂🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃🏼‍♂️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻build strong abs !

That last minute is one of the most important parts of this video - You have to train in that expensive super shoe, and it takes months of training to get the tissue/muscle/form correct.

I had to study up here and regroup a bit... I prefer to be bigger on elastic tissue stimulation and try to avoid hard heel strikes and more forward strikes slightly to the outside edge make for a better return and an easier cadence, other than that posture makes for big returns, because it's not as clumsy. This is one of the big advantages of hill climbs. Thanks and Happy Christmas GTN!
