I had ocular migraines years ago in my 30-40's then they disappeared. I am in my 60's now and they are back. These are nothing new but I never took anything for them. I am going to a Neurologist in July but just curious if there is a medication to take for these. I did have a CT scan recently & that was normal. Just curious if there is a migraine medication you can take for this type of migraine.

Since you haven't had migraines in a few decades, avascular/neural workup is recommended since an ocular migraine is a diagnosis of exclusion. Your neurologist may be able to prescribe you something, but most instances the symptoms should only last 20-30 minutes and no medication is required.
