The thing with Deadpool's accelerated healing factor is that they kill off his cancer cells and then regrow it instantly only to kill it off again. So his scars are ever-forming even though it didn't show in the movie. Besides, his wounds would heal the moment a plastic surgeon moves the knife away from it so I don't think cosmetic surgery can do anything for him. Btw it is impossible for Wade to shut up. He is crazy, he hear voices in his head and it's a good way to caught his opponents off guard. He ain't called merc with a mouth for nothing. 😂😂😂

At 22:02 you said "He could probably get cosmetic surgery..." but remember he heals instantly. So as soon as a doctor made the first incision with a scalpel, Wade would heal back to his current state before the doctor could make the next. Plus with his super healing power, I wonder if anesthesia would last on him for more than a few seconds.
@@RedHood410 True that, the pain wouldn't be an issue any more. The cosmetic surgery would go on and on and he would keep healing back to his "new normal" faster than the doctor could work.
6:45 He doesn't have healing the bullet just lost too much force to go through his skull after the 3 infront of him (you can actually see that the third guy has no blood splatter)
A lot of fans of the comics thought that the studio didn't ugly Ryan Reynolds up *enough*, because in the comics, his scarred appearance is the result of his getting Wolverine's healing factor (Logan's blood was part of the serum used on him), which then combined with his cancer. It's also part of why he's so mentally unstable; he's constantly growing, then healing, new tumors throughout his body, including his brain. As a note, Deadpool 2 had the same hard-R rating as the first (and hopefully, Disney will allow the third to also have it)... but Fox also milked it by, for Christmas of that year, rereleasing a PG-13 cut of it as "Once Upon a Deadpool," with a new framing device. Specifically, that Deadpool has kidnapped Fred Savage, bound him up with duct tape, placed him in a recreation of the set from the opening of The Princess Bride, and is telling him the story of the movie just like how Princess Bride was framed as a bedtime story for Savage's character. I never got around to seeing that cut, and I don't think that version was ever released on DVD, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get to see the scenes with Reynolds and Fred Savage.
My friends and I saw this in theaters when it came out. Us and the rest of the audience nearly collapsed from laughter also I know more than one of us was red in the face from laughing so hard. Especially during the Deadpool and Colossus scene. My cheeks were hurting as we exited the theater
Deadpool knows he's a comic character that's why he keeps breaking the fourth wall he knows we're watching. He's also pretty much insane and tells different stories of his background so you're never sure what is right. Negasonic has way more powers than they show in the movies. What's covering his body is cancer but his healing abilities are matching it so it stays the same but never really heals. Also he asks everyone during the movie about Francis but they have no idea who that is because they know him as Ajax. Oh and his guns and ammo bag are left because they didn't have the money to use them the studio kept cutting the budget.
I'm amazed the final battle had anything in it at all after how much they cut the budget last minute. Apparently Negasonic is a complete rework of the character and their powers; they talk about having to get the okay from Marvel to do it, even though she was a lesser known character.
@@ShadowyFox_86 Honestly I don't read the comics but know some characters fairly well. Yeah they nerfed her down to basically one power instead of about 6 big powers. They came close to ruining it because of money but it turned out great in spite of it.
Morena Baccarin (Vanessa) was memorable in the "Firefly" science fiction series and its follow-up movie, Serenity, before she was in the "V" remake or "Stargate SG1." I recommend "Firefly" and "Serenity." The only problem with the series is wishing that there were more than fourteen episodes.
For the end credits (I didn't see them mentioned in the few replies I saw), it's an homage to the movie Fewrris Beuhler's Day Off with a very young Matthew Broderick. Even the "chicka-chicka" at the end :)
Francis doesn’t feel pain and is kind of strong, Angel is very strong, Colossus is also very strong but made of metal (so he can be “bent”), NSTW is basically a nuclear weapon, Deadpool is effectively immortal and a former elite soldier (but he does feel pain).
And Deadpool also has a degree of pseudo super strength and stamina. Due to his healing factor healing lactic acid before it can build up, he can exert his muscles to a much greater degree and for much longer periods of time than normal humans.

Intresting you say you never thought you'd see Ryan in a super hero movie as he's done more than a lot of other actors, Green Lantern, Wolverine: Origins (Where he plays a "different" version of Wade) and the 3rd Blade movie. Mind you they did have 1 thing in common, they weren't great examples and I think a lot of people would like to forget them.
Ryan was actually in at least three "superhero" movies before this, though only the hero in one of them. He co-starred in Blade Trinity as a sidekick-type character, he starred in Green Lantern as the hero, and between those two, he unfortunately played a version of Deadpool that we're all trying to forget, in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It was an utter abomination that should never have seen the light of day. Thankfully Ryan was able to redeem the character with this franchise.
Dead Pool 1 and two are my favorite marvel moves. If you want another marvel Xman superhero series a try, which I think is better? That’s Legion which originally aired on FX. It’s definitely not like any of these comic book caricatures have been used before, it’s a trip. Great reaction 👍
A fun little tidbit. The reason Deadpool left the duffle bag in the cab was because Fox cut their budget so they couldn't afford to do the big gun fight they had planned.
So Wade's super power is super accelerated regeneration, just like Wolverine. HOWEVER, his cancer cells also regenerate at an accelerated rate, so his body is actually mostly cancer, thus the ruined skin, and the 4th wall breaking. His brain is so riddled with cancer, he's so insane he's actually super sane. He KNOWS he's a comic book character (or in this case, movie), thus why he talks to the audience. Though in the comics he also has 2 voices in his head, represented by a white dialogue box, and a yellow dialogue box. So it's not that he's super strong, nor has super reflexes. He just knows nothing can kill him because of his regeneration. So at the start, he TOTALLY broke every bone in both his legs, but they were healed within....say, 30 seconds. And there's no need to dodge bullets when the bullet holes will heal, and any projectiles still inside will get expressed. Francis (sorry, Ajax) meanwhile, as he said, developed super strength, and his nerves became completely deadened. We also saw during the shootout on the freeway he seems to have super reflexes as well. So he doesn't feel pain, and thus will never be slowed down by it in a fight. Angel got super strength and super durability, thus her ability to go toe to toe with Colossus.
yea they boosted Angel Dust a bit, she is at 800lbs up to 25 tons, depending on adrenaline level, while colossus were around 70 tons, but, if yo do not know how to fight, you cant utilize that strength
"Cult fan-base"?!? Deadpool is part of the American pop culture zeitgeist since his creation in 1991! His iconic, sardonic catch phrases and portrait have graced all sorts of merch from bumper/car stickers to clothing to posters to tattoos. It is the fact that his content is too adult by studios for a "super hero" movie that kept one from being made. In fact Fox was so concerned about the character's typically potty mouth that in "X-man Origins: Wolverine" they stitched Deadpool's mouth closed! An absolute heresy against comicbook-kind!! If it weren't for Ryan Reynold's persistence that their was an adult audience for superhero content, these movies would not have been made despite the character's immense popularity in the States.
Also, _Doctor Strange_ and _Wonder Woman_ were also great superhero movies from 2016. Highly recommended them as well. _(Especially_ with the awesome Wonder Woman badass electric cello _leitmotif!)_

Deadpool has super healing, much stronger than Wolverines. It basically makes him immortal even if his head were cut off he’d survive where Wolverine may die from that. Deadpool’s healing power also causes him to be insane, and damage to his brain either physically or mentally heals and has caused him to go crazy, in the comic books he may be even crazier than like the Joker. He’s not really good or bad. Any of the beings that have healing factors are stronger than normal people because when they exert their muscles the tissue gets damaged and heals back stronger so just like anyone that works out but theirs are super powered, if any of these beings actually worked out like a body builder they’d be like Hulk sized in like a week because they heal much faster. Deadpool also has perfect aim due to his special forces training almost to super human aim.

Not sure where you read or heard this is a cult movie. It was a breath of fresh air from the monotonous superhero/comic book movie. It came at the perfect time when everyone was being overwhelmed with all the marvel and DC movies with each one trying to be longer and more epic than the last. It turrned movie going into a chore. I'm in my 40s now I don't want to sit through 230minutes of explosions and noise. At my age I have to take a piss every hour. So 4 times during a movie I have to stand up find somewhere to put my popcorn tub, push past 10 people leave the screenroom go for a piss and come back doing the same again. Remember Robocop? 90 minutes ... One of the best films ever made. I could probably hold in my piss for that .... hahaha. And you never thought Ryan would be in a super hero movie? Erm... He's been in 2, maybe 3 before this.
The whole 'Francis' deal is sort of a matter of power dynamic. The guy wants to be taken seriously and feared, hence why he named himself Ajax. He wants to be viewed as an absolute threat who controls other threats (which is probably important in the career field of superhuman trafficing.) By calling him by his real name, which Francis makes no attempt in hiding how much he HATES it, Deadpool is broadcasting that he will never: 1. Respect him and 2. Fear him. The idea is that if you take away the influence one has over you, you take away any power they believe they have
The post credits scene is direct reference to the post credit scene of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." The Deadpool unicorn in the credits pokes Gina Carano in the "A." That can't be an accident. Deapool is a pop culture junky. Years ago, they introduced the Wade Wilson character in "X-Men Origins:Wolverine" Ryan Reynolds had the swords even back then. When they introduced Deadpool the first time, he was mute and had the swords grafted to his arms. They completely botched it, and he definitely references that as well as he references the Green Lantern failure too.
Colossus in the comics Is normally stronger than angel dust but angel dust can increase her adrenaline for a short time and she is stronger than Colossus than lol but in the deadpool movie she is always has crazy strength lol
Deadpool was Ryan Reynold's pet project that he spent so long trying to get made. He was Deadpool in the shitty Wolverine movie because the studio said they would make a real Deadpool film. This only got greenlight when the director or him released the freeway footage which was a test screen before full production. That Highway scene got so much attention they made the film and was the highest grossing R rated film, which is why they said ok to Logan
Be aware that this and Deadpool 2 are based on a Marvel character that was owned by Fox until Disney bought Fox. The third Deadpool will be made by Marvel.
It's interesting to see an non comic book reader's reaction to Deadpool. I've been reading comics since I was in high school in 99 until 2019. I knew Deadpool's backstory long before movie came out. Also Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are Fox movies. Disney's acquisition of Fox didn't happen until after those movies were made. Deadpool 3 will be the first Marvel Deadpool movie. In the comics Wade was turned into Deadpool at the same place where Wolverine got his adamantium claws. Wolverine had healing powers as his mutant power so that's why he was able to survive the process. Since Wade still has cancer, that's why he's partially insane. The cancer affected his mind. I think Deadpool's been around since the 70's or 80's. There isn't a romantic lead in the comics. That's only around because it's a movie. I would have liked the movie more without the romance personally. In the comics, Deadpool breaks the 4th wall a lot. It's what he's known for.
Glad you enjoyed it. I've seen it around 20 times by now and never tire of it. I'd be curious to know how it holds up for you on a rewatch. Keep smilin! Jim

I wish Disney/Marvel made more R-rated movies! It gives the director and the writers so much freedom to be creative
@@kabirconsiders I think part of why they don't is that it grosses the studios less money. Especially for a brand that built on that, I can see why they would (even though I dislike the reason). Deadpool and Logan showed the Mouse how successful certain pieces could be if they were R rated.
I noticed that Disney did that (since they own Hulu) with the soft reboot of the Hellraiser franchise.
The first 2 Deadpool films are NOT Disney. The character wasn't obtained by Disney until after these films were made. That is why fans are so worried about DP3 being a woke suckfest.
@@shaitanlavey Thank you for correcting me. I should of check my facts before post. I just remembered the whole ordeal. And Deadpool 1 and 2 are on Disney+.
21st Century Fox are the distribution for DP1/2 and then sold in 2019 to Disney.
@@kabirconsiders Every Wolverine, X-Men and Deadpool film to date was made by Fox. Disney has never released an R-Rated film. It will be interesting to see how they distance themselves from Deadpool 3 by using the Fox banner.
i've been wanting you to do this one! one of marvels best movies
God, I love this movie. Please do part 2 soon!
Kabir, Jaguar did a Super Bowl commercial with Mark Strong, Tom Hiddleston, and Sir Ben Kingsley and they explain why the bad guy is played by a British fella.
In the comic books, Vanessa is a mutant called Copy Cat. Did you notice the final battle was taken place on an old SHIELD heli-carrier?
His first appearance is Deadpool was in the origins of wolverine
My favorite line from Deadpool: "Oh your poor wife"
Mine is, "You look like an avocado had sex with an older, uglier avocado."
This was the first Marvel movie to be rated "R" in the US ("15" in UK). All others were PG-13 in the US (12 or 12A in UK). At the same time it became the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time worldwide.
Dude slices his own limbs off with little to no hesitation. I don't think pain is a very concerning thing for him. 🤷🏾♂️
I can understand burning out on superhero movies, but as Deadpool said: "I may be super, but I'm no hero."
This a million times. Best sci to since the original trilogy for me
She was in _SG-1?!_ Damn, now I’m going to have to do a series rewatch and try to spot her!
@@DarkJediPrincess in the last season or two.
One of the last great marvel movies before the significant drop in quality
Agreed, the drop in quality has been so steep.. just feels like the same story over and over
Long live Ryan Reynolds 🤣
He killed it in this movie!
You should react to the Honest Trailer for this 👀👀👀
🖤 It's a Love story!!!
I remember seeing it in Cinema.
Good times
I was soo sceptical about this movie but was pleasantly surprised
The end clip with him in the bathrobe was a reference to, "Ferris Bbueller's Day Off."✌️
Apparently you haven't watched "Firefly" the all time best TV series. She plays Inara.
Nope I haven’t seen firefly, is it worth checking out?
@@kabirconsiders Firefly is amazing. Sci-fi space western with great stories, lots of drama and witty lines!
@@kabirconsiders Watch the tv show (there were only 14 episodes made) and then watch the movie that was made to tie things up.
Even today there's a ton of fans who are still angry at Fox for screwing this show up. The episodes were shown out of order and they kept moving it around on the schedule. Fox obviously was not interested in Firefly but agreed to the series to make Joss Whedon happy so he would continue to do Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Firefly is the best sci to since the original star wars trilogy.
@@kabirconsiders omg you really need to watch that show. It's one of joss whedons best in my humble opinion which by itself says something because he has quite a list of good productions.
That bathrobe thing in the post credits, it is a nod back to the post credits scene in the 80's classic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Slightly upset you missed my favourite joke in the whole film, after the colossus crotch punch when wade says "oh your poor wife"
the end credit is a tribute to Ferris Bueller's day off!
Cosmetic surgery wouldn’t work since his body would “heal” him back to his pre-surgery state
Deadpool 3 will take place in the MCU so I’m not sure if you are caught up.
It’s still rated R from what I Heard.
It is
Dead Pool 1 and two are my favorite marvel moves. If you want another marvel Xman superhero series a try, which I think is better? That’s Legion which originally aired on FX. It’s definitely not like any of these comic book caricatures have been used before, it’s a trip.
Great reaction 👍
The final scene with the bathrobe was a nod to the ending credits to the movie Ferris Beuler's Day Off.
22:10 Cosmetic surgery wouldn't work. As soon as a surgeon cuts, it'd heal.
yea they boosted Angel Dust a bit, she is at 800lbs up to 25 tons, depending on adrenaline level, while colossus were around 70 tons, but, if yo do not know how to fight, you cant utilize that strength
The character is written awesome. Ryan Reynolds (Canadian) plays it perfectly!
Also, _Doctor Strange_ and _Wonder Woman_ were also great superhero movies from 2016. Highly recommended them as well. _(Especially_ with the awesome Wonder Woman badass electric cello _leitmotif!)_
Deadpool can feel pain just can’t be killed or hurt long term
Did you know how in the song after he has the first red suit in the song you hear Merc the mouth, Which is what he was called in one of the wolverine movies
He can do more then regrow limbs in the comics he was basically atomized and still regenerated
There was even a storyline where his severed limbs were put together to form a darker (lol) evil Deapool.
This was filmed in my hometown of Vancouver, Canada. It’s like a guided tour. Some of the scenes are near my old condo building. Ryan Reynolds is from Vancouver.
"Hopefully this one is different"
Well, "different" is definitely accurate.
Ryan Reynolds was also Green Lantern
Colossus was holding back because he didn't want to hit a woman, until he got tired of her, then he did just enough to stifle her.
Metallic Junk would be a great name for a rock band.
Fun fact: this was me and (late) husband's Valentines Day date for that year. Then we went out for chimichangas. We made plans to see the sequel, but he died right before it was released.
Ahh. I hope life's going well for you.
The extra scene was a parody of a bonus scene in Ferris Bueller's day off
That was fun, I too was surprised at Ryan in this roll, but the whole movie was a hoot!
He was made for this role and pursued it relentlessly.
"Why have they nerfed Colossus here??" = Liked.
Cult? It broke a lot of box records when it came out lol
7:27 cant denied my favourite combo (sometimes with corn if I want)
Kabir, Hello friend. I was smiling when you said you were tired of super hero movies and didn't know what to expect. I'm mostly interested in GREAT movies and this might be the greatest funniest and most horrifying of all these super hero flicks. I'm halfway through your reaction and I'm sure you're gonna love Deadpool to the last Drop Kick hehehe. Thanks for the reaction now I'm gonna finish it. All the best Jim Oaxaca Mexico
The first 'R' rated movie (Restricted to 18 and over without a parent present) in history to become a blockbuster (almost a billion globally). Fox tried to talk them into a PG-13, but Ryan said in HAD to be 'R' rated to be a real Deadpool. And thank the gods, he got to make it... Such a great film!
unsure if official yet, but deadpool have an estimate of 3 ton strength based of his feats in the comics, about the same as luke cage, which is about 1/3 of spiderman who is 10 ton
wolverine only have 650lbs, or peak human as it is called
In the late 90’s I stared ⭐️ in a beer commercial (an extra) An up and coming actor stole my thunder (hired help) Ryan Reynolds 🤣
That last scene is from Ferris Bueller's day off!
The whole 'Francis' deal is sort of a matter of power dynamic. The guy wants to be taken seriously and feared, hence why he named himself Ajax. He wants to be viewed as an absolute threat who controls other threats (which is probably important in the career field of superhuman trafficing.)
By calling him by his real name, which Francis makes no attempt in hiding how much he HATES it, Deadpool is broadcasting that he will never: 1. Respect him and 2. Fear him.
The idea is that if you take away the influence one has over you, you take away any power they believe they have
Deadpool is one of my favorite movies and I'm an old lady. Irreverent and hilarious.
The end credit scene is a parody of the end credit scene of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which is a good movie to react to if you haven't seen it.
The post credits scene is direct reference to the post credit scene of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."
The Deadpool unicorn in the credits pokes Gina Carano in the "A." That can't be an accident.
If haven’t seen 90s blade movie with Wesley Snipes I recommend it. I also recommend Howard the duck.
… never thought I would see him in a superhero movie.
It’s actually his third superhero movie after Blade Trinity and Green Lantern.
Also Deadpool and
Deadpool 2 are Fox movies. Disney's acquisition of Fox didn't happen until after
those movies were made. Deadpool 3 will be the first Marvel Deadpool movie.
In the comics Wade was turned into Deadpool at the same place where
Wolverine got his adamantium claws. Wolverine had healing powers as his
mutant power so that's why he was able to survive the process. Since Wade still
has cancer, that's why he's partially insane. The cancer affected his mind.
I think Deadpool's been around since the 70's or 80's. There isn't a romantic lead
in the comics. That's only around because it's a movie. I would have liked the movie
more without the romance personally. In the comics, Deadpool breaks the 4th wall a lot.
It's what he's known for.
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
