    Brilliant. Followed the gist of this lesson but he maths lost me for the main part. Came here for an explanation of the meaning of temperature coefficient with regard to the spec as applied to power supplies. Fascinating thank you.

      Glad it helped! Yes the maths can be a little bit of a challenge, but remember most metals will increase in resistance with temperature and insulators tend to do the opposite. Please share with like minded and like and subscribe.

      Hi if you know the temperature and resistance at start point and then the temperature and resistance at finish point. Then re-arrange formula to make Alpha (temp coefficient) the subject. Hope that helps. Please Like, Share & Subscribe
