THANK YOU! I was trying to make a slideshow for my class with photos from a recent project and all the automatic Windows options were quite depressing. This saved me so much time, especially since I also had to convert all the HEIC photos to JPEGs.
Hmmm that is curious to me, because this is an established feature in ppt, are you using ppt online via a browser? Or the desktop app? Do you know what version you have?

@@SpotlightImpact Many thanks for your reply, and I hope you are well. We are trying to create a photo carousel of past works we have completed in word format for work proposals. Would like a Similar function to Instagram photo slides. Cheers may seem crazy to get it to work in PDF as well.
Good questions! Are you referring to simply doing these things for a few photos on a single slide? Or using the insert photo albums to insert a whole folder of photos into slide like this as you describe? - I don’t think there’s a way to do the latter without a lot of custom VBA scripting but I’ll look around and see if I can find something. If you’re just looking to add two photos to a slide and have one appear one after the other that’s easy! Just put them both on the slide and go to the animation tab - add and appear entrance to both photos and set them on mouse click. The photo frame is easy too - just depends on what kind of frame you want. You could add customs frames with master slide placeholders and that would be a nifty trick What's Better? Great video. Could it be that this feature is only available for windows. I can't find the insert Photo Album icon in my powerpoint for mac version

This is so helpful but I don't see the option in my PowerPoint to add an album, only photos from file. Any suggestions on uploading a lot of photos?
