Eventho most of Indonesian are moeslem now, we are very proud with our ancestors, who had Hindusm and Buddism beliefs. We protect those temples until now and for the future also
I have been there once and such a waste that I didn't realise the meaning of those relief and carvings. Going there, taking pictures and enjoying the surronding scene was just a stupid thing that I have ever done. I will definitely go back and pay homage with deep devotion again.
If you enjoyed it, it was not a waste... Many people believe that a great teaching monument like the Borobudur teaches you, even sub-consciously, when you are present. It is at least thought to consider! And your awareness now, after watching this film, is so much deeper!
