Nice, I just ordered a Piscifun® Alijoz 300 I'm going to try as a low profile bumping reel, with 33lbs of drag it should do nicely. Nice review, keep up the good work, and lets get together and fish on one of your trips up here.

I have Daiwa Prorex 400 and its smooth, strong 30 lbs drag and high speed 8.1. Casts a mile with the T-wing level wind. Cant backlash it even if you try. But im getting a tranx 400hg this weekend. Putting it on a shimano SLX crankbait or Glass rod. Not sure which one. What would you reccommend . Ill be throwing monster swim/glide baits in rivers for big stripers. Should i get the heavy glass crankin or the SLX crankin rod. I love glass. Hard to order a rod without actually feeling it
Pro tip use a short ankle socks when moving around it even protects the handle I do this with all my reels besides my internationals which are like 6-8 inches wide 😂 and I use all black socks people make fun of it but my reels don’t get that scratched…

This reel is a beast ive had it for more than 3 years and it works great

You get what you pay for and that thing sounds like a workhorse🦅 I have an old version of Shimano nasci still goin after 5 years of catfishing
It’s the perfect size for kayak fishing also. Big enough to handle most fish but still not so big it’s hard to handle from a seated position

Hahaha I am suuuper harsh on my equipment but you can believe me when I say they are tough lol

When I start targeting fish over 40 lbs I would go with the the 500

400 is good for musky or catfish, anything bigger get a 500. Thanks for the video.

Great reel, but ugly white handle. Switch to a power handle like on the 400.
