Everyone knows that Queen is one of the greatest bands in the world, plus Freddie (main vocalist) had a wonderful voice, so it’s really difficult to cover them without sounding bad or like trying too hard (example: Shawn Mendes, not hating btw) but *_5sos did a really great work_* you can feel the passion and compromise they put into making this cover, the harmonies, the instruments... amazing band! If you even just look up their latest album Youngblood you would see that at least 2 of the members have writing credits on every song. Michael, Calum and Luke also share writing credits on talk fast and all of the boys share writing credits on Moving Along. These are literally only the first 6 songs on the album as examples, you can look up the rest yourself and see that you're incorrect when saying that "the four are not on any one of them, literally not one song".
This just shows you how ahead queen was in their time and worked endlessly. 5sos is having a hard time doing this(no hate I love them) can you imagine what Freddie did for 30 years and the music technology wasn’t as advanced as it is now. Crazy to think about .
