The tip about ditching the ammo carrier and armor is just amazing. I tried it out this morning playing Skirmish and i was able to cap 10 times during the match. I wish more people would follow that tip, playing as attackers i still see most of the team goes with heavy armor and it really shows how much it can slow down a team. Some people will debate that its worth it to have the explosion protection, but those same people to this day still haven't been able to cap A.
2:23 And combined with subsonic calibers like .45 ACP, and the enemy won't even know their being shot at. Because subsonic rounds lack the signature crack of bullets wizzing by, so they won't even know they're being shot at.

The M16A2 is an underrated gun because you can just run it naked and then pick up a fully customized security weapon off the ground and keep all your mags. Also, you confuse the enemy because your weapon won't sound insurgent.
as a person who never played sandstorm and not much milsims? (only put 3hours into arma 2, 30minutes into arma 3 and around 50hours into good old insurgency) would you recommend the game?
Within 5m heavy armor fails vs frags, from 6-8m HA survives 1 frag, but from 9-10m HA can survive 2-3 frags, and at 11m frags deal no damage. Within 8m light armor fails vs frags, from 9-11m LA survives 1 frag, 12-13m LA can survive 2-3 frags, and at 14m frags deal no damage. Within 9m no armor fails vs frags, from 10-11m NA survives 1 frag, at 12m NA survives 2 frags, seemingly at 13m frags deal no damage. Also beyond 8m frags occasionally miss entirely, so no damage values may simply be luck. Either case, LA does practically nothing for you against frags, while HA has noticeable benefits but it is quite heavy. Testing with weapons show that again, LA does little for you, maybe surviving 1 more Rifle shot at ranges beyond 50m from anything but AP or .50, while HA survives 1 more Rifle shot beyond 50m, and 1 AP/.50 shot beyond 100m. TLDR: Armor is a waste of points and weight since launch due to COD kiddies whining about TTK higher than .2s.

Thanks Bew. I have not explored my self but I have seen a few guys jumping and getting to out of bounds areas, some are pretty broken as you can cap/block from under the map!!!
I think you missed a couple of tips, but what has helped me with getting better is, 1. using the walk button to silence my sound and 2. aiming more down sight when getting towards the middle. I was finding my self getting caught more out of scope and started to learn how fast people get to the middle with light load outs. Walking has greatly helped me play more situational and could hear enemy people stomping around. I dont think any game does this feature that well like insurgency does when any information could be the death of you. Thanks for the video and I appreciate the tips.
