My take. This episode sucked, and it's quickly ruining my opinion on the season as a whole. Like the episode is stale and boring, it's dragged on for WAY TOO LONG, Pin's fanbase amongst the contestants is now a cult (And her fanbase in general is slowly becoming one). Not to mention I lost more braincells watching this then when I was still enrolled in public school. Easily the 3rd worst episode of the season after episodes 10 and 11
More things for me to -complain- hate about this episode. Bomby's voice gives me a MIGRAINE, I thought Ruby or Bracelety's voices were obnoxious, his is even WORSE. Not to mention everyone is so obnoxious it doesn't even feel like episodes 1-5e anymore (Those were actually GOOD), it feels like another season that Cary ruined (Like he ruined BFB). We need a new writer because this show is getting even worse with Cary writing. I like Cary, but his writing skills aren't good. One last thing about this episode that makes me mad, the pointy pointy pointy song, I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT, BFDI should NEVER have a musical
I think the musical idea was fine but they executed it so poorly. When I try to do my impression of Bomby my voice genuinely hurts. Pointy pointy pointy isn’t funny, it’s just so stale it’s annoying. The thing with the pre hiatus episodes that I actually like about them is their team dynamic, ESPECIALLY episode 5. There’s like no communication between any other team other than FreeSmart still. Nickel and TB’s lullaby was okay, but tb just interrupting nickel like that to show off his nerdiness isn’t funny. I liked fries a little bit this episode. The dental procedure is weird, it just felt out of place. Also, bubble is back! Also EVIL LEAFY!!!! Needle did improve quite a bit. I feel like in season 1 needle was just use as the stereotype of someone who gets annoyed at someone calling her names and is a slap machine. Second season that’s dropped and it improves her. This episode made me dislike Ruby even more with her getting the combination of the puffball and gelatin treatment. I also loved pin’s revenge. Pin completely should stand up for herself. Overall my rating is 6/10. Kinda mid tbh. I expected an AMAZING episode after BFDIA 13, but my expectations were too high
