Thank you for this video. That is the design I planned for a project and wanted to use rulers. Your table runner is beautiful. Always enjoy your videos. You give me inspiration and help me have the confidence to try new things.

I'm a new subscriber and I'm not quite ready to use quilting rulers as I really enjoy making up designs for free motion quilting, but I will not "rule " them out. I wanted to thank you for enlightening me on paper piecing! I had never heard or seen that before. I saw one of your videos, and I thought you had appliqued a seemingly rounded form, but then you held it close to the camera where I saw what looked like origami folds and I knew I had to do that for myself. I was designing my tree quilt at the time--one very large tree. With the paper piecing I was able to curve the trunk, branches and create leaves, and animals--what fun! I wish I could send you a picture of my finished quilt! I'm now hooked on paper piecing. I'm creating new designs for my next poppy quilt.

I'm so thrilled I found you Irene, and Sugaridoo! I loved your FPP course and I'm working on the Trees. This video using the circles is lovely. I like the pattern, the way you chose to use these circles with the triangle. Very smart! Thank you so much Irene!

Thank you for sharing this, Irene. Contrasting shapes in patchwork and quilting (like Triangle vs Circles )make it a perfect match. I'm looking to try out my circle rulers.

I've been enjoying making my trees. This is my very first quilt so there's been a little learning curve😊 Now I have a better understanding how the whole ruler thing works. Personally, I think I will enjoy the ruler work more than the free motion as it provides some structure from which to work. My creative side is definitely buried so who knows what will emerge. Thanks is much Irene!

A few months ago, I bought these rulers after you mentioned them on your channel. I love them so much! I recently quilted a wall hanging with random circles using the rulers and it turned out very cute. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you for demystifying these circular rulers! I’ve got the Q20 sit down, and these rulers and haven’t tried them yet, but you’ve inspired me to give it a try. Thanks again, your video was so well done and your instructions were perfect for all of the little details a person like me needed to figure out how to use these rulers. 👍❤️

Looks beautiful, very similar to the Baptist Fan pattern for quilting.

Love the design, so simple yet so fresh and pretty! I have been totally curious how to use the circle ruler set and this pattern was a really smart way to use the rulers. I think I would definitely be more confident in trying the same design with rulers rather than without. Trying to keep the spacing seems rather intimidating! Since I haven't really done any free motion on a quilt outside of a meander, I'm looking forward to learning from you throughout the QAL.

I've got a quilt that I am doing some ruler work on it. I fairly new to it so it is very slow going. I love the consistancy of your half circles. Thank you for sharing with us!!

I’ve been avoiding purchasing this set of rulers. I will have to take another look. I may be able to use them after all. However…. I really like Amanda’s piano keys ruler. Maybe we need to gang up on her and see if she will make a curved fingers ruler that will make this similar pattern us. :)

Hello Irene. I love watching you quilt. Do you have trouble seeing your arcs when you are butting one against the other? When I use matching thread I sometimes run over previous stitching.
