I have a question, there is a trate introvert where you don't work well companion's, it was in fallout 4, in f4 did that include the semi default dog, does it include in starfield the semi default robot? I never worked this out as I always worked on stealthy kills
I am not sure if you got the total number of planets correct, unless it's your accent. I heard you mention 100,000 planets. I believe I heard in another interview mentioned 1000 planets some percentage less than 20% have life probably be like 10% be (Goldeilocks zone), 100 or so to work with. 100,000 or large data set like that is in "No Man's Sky" because each one is procedure generated. However, I believe it wise of them to lower the data set and since we have only like 100 planets to scan and 1000 that's still a lot of planets. Also for single player game if you mod it "Mods" are likely going to have them building in planets near the 4-7 cities that are hand crafted. I played hundreds of hours in "No Man's sky" and adding endless systems doesn't help at all. In-fact makes somewhat annoying to find some of your old planets. With endless generation I still only explored like at most 150 and scan less than 20 of those planets, hence a 1000 is way more than you need. Also there is differences in mobs but mostly just swapping limbs/heads/sizes of aliens. The overall procedure generated planets all end up boring because nothing unique other than main missions. Even if this is going to be played for like 10 years like Skyrim or Fallout games I say 1000 more than enough even if you had more 50 players in your universe. Unless he said 1000 stars but I don't believe so. Also unless it's a special mission which forces us down a cut scene or DLC, I don't see any indication of spacewalking. Looks like from these videos release they still have major problems and many fixes left before release or the final cut. Their hands don't map to guns, the missions not really shown in any way, they seem to have economy & talents not even solidified yet, their sliders for character creation is missing only simplest overall changes like hair, face but missing sliders for all face shapes, being they didn't show any missions or anything innovative from their other games since literally everything here is in FALLOUT/SKYRIM other than VR which I am sure they will and ask another $60 for. So anyways I don't see anything innovative ability to add a chatGPT NPC or any indication of usage in studio AI voices campaign voice which can say anything which all be something all MODDERS want. I also see zero customization for your OWN cyborg (companions). JUST STUPID MECH that uses TTS Microsoft SAM AI voice from 1982. Then acted like was big deal when I programmed robot voices like that in 1995 aka (text to speech) which simple TTS import with code sam.speak('Hello world'); there 1982 code, yet now days with ChatGPT / Stable Diffusion / and custom VOICE sets that can replace robotic voices they totally lost being in innovation for PCs unlike their Elder scrolls Morrowind ground breaking. Yeah I get if they don't want to do everything that way but let me design my own companion pick the voice I want and type in all the prompts even if you made part of story .. You go to this planet to buy your own Cyborg and custom design it all which you have sliders like character creation and voice selection and type in responses for cyborg attacking / needing repairs / commands extra. But as usual like in their HOUSE BUILDING (skyrim) they have to watch a MODER show them how then RIP off the concept charge $20 for it.
Very solid assumptions! A few things you were speculating on have actually been answered several came from the interview you mentioned: 1. Todd Howard said flat out that there are no ground vehicles or in atmosphere flight so your assumptions are verified in that regard. 2. It has also been flat out stated you can't ride critters. 3. The allies from constellation are your only romance options. That being said, it is implied you have have sex with other NPCs but the romantic relationships are only with others in Constellation. 4. Todd said radio is only in one place there is no radio in space. There is just communication.
On the creatures part I don't think the same alien will be on different planets unless the story is about intelligent aliens using our close star systems for trying out different evolutions of the same creature. That wouldn't fit the story at all. That would feel as Bethesdas Todd Howard would say "too gamey"
With the first question, I do think you can do it with posters and stuff, like in Skyrim. If you find a plate, you can drop that plate onto a table in your player home. So, here we have to find the stuff and then put it in from our inventory... The reason I also think about this is when they showed that girl with the sandwiches, she dropped them from her inventory, making it possible, I think.
But can we really make a Ship in any shape? I don't see any circular parts. How am I supposed to build The Enterprise or the Millennium Falcon without circular parts?!
I'm wondering if you can shoot tubed hallways in space stations and other orbiting structures loose or off, making them non traversable from the inside.
they said the ship's interior changes with the type of module you attach. I believe the same can be said for base building with a few inclusions of specific items like robots, companions, and crafting tables.
I realize they probably won't let us mess with the insides of ships because of how fallout 76 does it. If you build a whole inside of a house and save it. Delete it, and try to place it back down, 9/10 times it'll say something is out of place or floating or something stupid stopping you. So if you move a hab part or whatever it may just die and that part of your ship is not broken and can be placed back down. Or if you delete it. There goes everything inside that part
thats right, if you delete all the moons and suns and gas planets, you just have maybe 12.000 planets. planets with flora and fauna are even less: maybe 20 planets have life and structures are maybe on 60-70 planets. but the main cities and structures are only on 7 or 8 planets. so the 100.000 planet theorie is a little bit wrong to understand.
Someone else has pointed out there's a real life sci-fi book, written by an actual astronaut, in the background somewhere in the Direct footage, that's about the Earth being devastated by a giant comet hitting it. Easter egg?
Some of the info in this video is just straight up false. New Atlantis is not the size of whiterun. It's even bigger than the imperial city. It even has a subway system. Did you even watch the starfield direct or the IGN interview with rayne McAfree. It's the biggest city Bethesda has ever made. Second of all the you will be able to customize interior of ship just like you could customize interiors in Skyrim and fallout 4. Also some of the questions you said no to because Bethesda didn't show certain thing. Todd Howard said there is a ton of of stuff they haven't shown yet.
8:16 Hold on it’s “more than a thousand Planets” as Todd said. He later stated that doesn’t include Moons and that only 10% of the Planets will have life on them. Clearly because this is real life there has only been 1 documented planet to have life. They wanted the game to be tangible. (NASA Punk) So if the planets meet all of the necessary conditions (Being in the Goldilocks Zone or the habitable zone of its Solar System) then they likely may have life. So I don’t understand why you said 100,000 planets.
I get that clickbait draws views, but this kind of video gets so old for people who are looking for real questions answered. This is just a speculation video and game development is far from linear
Have you played any of the Bethesda games before they showed ship building in interiors threes multiples scene's where they show that not only the player but the companions to does this the show the companions decorating their place on the ship with things the protagonist give them or things they already have like knickknacks, heirlooms and more they show a pile of sandwiches in the cargo hold stacked on top of each other to ridiculous size on one surface showing the physics still working they show the player placing what ever he is holding on to a desk that's already fully decorated with things from the inventory they show even on the ships you claim or dock with this is try they show even 0 g environment where weapons float and other object in a ship that the player docked with found or claimed from a enemy the player can go repair the ship in space and have space walks they show this by having the player walk the length of the hull on a ship on one of the docking platforms they player can go on the hull of the ship there are missions and other things not only traversal elements in the story and quests there is player impute to dock presagers to make it faster but there's also automatic one that depends on many factors such as computer hatch type and crew pilot the protagonist can do any of the ship roles the ships can have a fleet armada and so on ranks naming based on how many they are having a home ship is the player's main ship but the player can have a lot of them and the protagonist crew and companions they all can fly a ship each with their own crew starfield is it's own ip the references you personally mention are just do to the same naming conventions used by all of them
All the silly speculation is reaching Cyberpunk levels of pre-launch silly hype :P "Can I pay my taxes in Cyberpunk 2077? Yeah for sure..." I suppose I can't blame the utubers making this dumb vids to get views but still... the whole thing is so ridiculous. "OMG Starfield will have 16 times the awesomeness!!!!" Ffs... wait for the actual game to release lol...
It’s always fun digging into what Bethesda has shown off so far. Cannot wait for this game!
Anything I got wrong? Let me know!

Old Poseidon ref!! I hadn't heard that Anywhere before! Awesome and thanks for pointing that out!!
They already stated that there is no underwater exploration or building.
They don't show interior customization: it's not in the game.
They don't show spacewalks: It'll be a surprise.
Gotta cash in on the starfield views even if the info isn't "new"

About six or seven of your questions have already been answered by Todd Howard
About six or seven of my poops were stinky so what
That’s a good ratio
@@mystery_reevesso they're making content on questions the community already knew about.

Easter egg?
Idk bout the life forms thing then what would be the point of scanning life forms and why would you have multiple outposts
Anyone know the actual number of planets and solar systems in the game? He says its 100,000 planets, but i thought it was only 1,000
You can't go underwater.
Are you sure about that?
Ye you cant
@@CaptainSteen Yep, he was asked that during an interview.
"100,000 planets??"
WTF?
100 systems and 1000 planets, overall. 10 avg. planets per system.
Actually they did show customizable ship interiors. Right out the gate sorry you are wrong

Good questions and answers...Can't land on a planet...Can you land on a asteroid rock ??
It is confirmed theres no ground vehicles or mounts
Can you Kamikaze into a Luxury Liner???? :)

why is earth not flat in starfield? 0/10
