#TOYHOUSE is the story of evey other countryman who is just not struggling to meet the basic needs of his family but also trying to survive against oppression of capitalist society/powers.

Here it goes
Ram is a victim of capitalism, the toy is the symbolic representation of the dream capitalism sells. the market today wants to sell the things that is actually needless. For the promise of making life better it takes away the joy and happiness away as in the case of ram. He doesn't know the drawback such as fowl smell, pollution and noise initially he thought that his income will flourish if he gives his resources to capitalistic market buy at the end it all goes in vain. Thus forced to earn income he migrates to city in the search of dreams but after all the hard work double shifting and working with sacrificing his self respect he gains nothing and while running wild behind dreams to be happy he misses out different small moments of joys. In the whole process he lost his daughter also.
Capitalistic idea has been depicted beautifully in this short film where cheap acquisition of land cheap raw material being turn in to things we actually don't need and these things are not sold where they produced these are sold at city where cut throat pursuit is going on to attain joy. The cost of things are so high that it may be out of reach for most of the underprivileged society.
So with all the beating and pressure to earn money respect and joy ram finally throws the towel in the combat against capitalism. He is on the crossroads where he felt compelled to remove the cause of his suffering by going on the path of illegal and unethical way.(toy gun is the mere representation of his low self power producing the bad thought people deals with daily when they are not able to cope up with the difficult scenario)
Now the inner consciousness comes to ram to confront him. He tells himself and ram realises that he is too small to break the dark web of capitalism with his insignificant value (when swanand laughs the he is trying to kill the owner of toy factory with this insignificant toy gun) he tried to apply the approach the path most poor people adapt that Almighty God will punish the culprits for their deed. But this idea also being quashed by his innerself. Atlast ram has been left to deal which decision he would take.
In the last shot though ram doesn't have the power to change the capitalistic ideology he has self power (gun representing his low power as compare to capitalism) to go out with this idea of happiness. The wide aerial shot depicts the toy house like similarity for which all the struggle for his life was going on.
In all this story is amazing different meaning can be suggested based on story line. May be the daughter here is the representation of future (because ram tells his inner consciousness that she cross the highway yet failed to grasp the joy with unforseen other circumstances. The narrator wants to tell us here that though hard work is necessary to achieve goals but yet migrants to a city may not achieve his goals due to various other difficulties like barriers due to language, community etc.)
In all the shots where dilemma of ram has been showed three captures have been made first ram, then his inner consciousness then third is utmost important the nature, today we all are trapped in a toy house like situation running behind the feeling of happiness but we are trapped in a vicious cycle the more we try to attain joy more we are being disconnected from our roots and nature.
Ram finally finds his way out ( his death represents his freedom from this vicious happiness cycle served by the so called corporates and tycoons,he free himself by his will)
Toys are abstracts children don't need factory toys to make them happy, nature is already possessed with treasure of joys.
The story may seems to be depressive but the hidden meaning projects you towards the big elephant in the room. At what cost we are going to to make the future for our next generation ?

One is to kill himself and let himself free.
Second is to fight it. What you are suggesting is to, be ignorant and continue to live as a part of that system. Like any other common, poor, marginalized, unprivileged Indian. Story is when one fight, end or relive from evil; not when one become a part of it.

Really good story the actors were good. all good but the ending. one of the problems Indian film makers have always had is using the sympathy card when they don't know what to do with the story. So they kill the character. And why is it India Suicide considered such a noble action. it is not. its a weak man's action.
how person should live in todays life and how to fulfill his and his family needs. toys are more costly than one month salary and think about those poor people who dont have anything to eat. this video have a nice moral of the story about what and how much is our brand value in front of society. he didnt get money because he was poor. he didnt able to do some official procedure because he was poor and atlast he killed himself.
Moral of the story is Dont make yourself fool.

The ending did all the damage to the amazing narration through out... This person doesn't even think once about his wife who just lost her child and now her husband too... The worst ending ever expected.... And still people in the comments are appreciating it... 👎👎
the other man was that toy owner and he shot him dead for precaution just as he said tum me ban skte the but dint had any gutts to hurt anyone.

Every story speaks about struggle,pain,misery , and the vested interests of one another . Everyone is trampling on one another to live their own selfish lives. Their is no end to all this.
Now I understand why poverty glorifying movies are sent to Oscars. Ameeri garibi and creativity are the only best sellers in india. No one says upfront that when you don't have enough why give birth to children. Secondly how can you be so careless as to not know when your child is running on the highway. If you are so careless for God's ultimate gift you deserve this.

This story says his story..... He killed himself.....He was happy in his village....he had everything...his daughter his wife.... A farm..... But zada chahne ke chahat ne aaj usse Jo hai woh banaya woh zindagi diyi jaha he is working very hard doing double shifts still not able to earn enough..... And while living this struggling and a hell life he is dreaming to live and build a life he was already living before.... He didn't realise he used to live that life before without those dreams or wishes too.....
