However, Peter, Judas, James and John... none of them were yet filled with the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God was "with them" but not yet "in them."
We do not read of this kind of wrong prophecy happening through the disciples after the day of Pentecost.
Their constant urge was for us to "be filled with the Spirit."
If we walk in the Spirit and not after the flesh, it changes everything.
A false prophet operates in the flesh.
And those who walk in the Spirit will immediately feel their 'antennae' go up, sensing something is 'off' about that person.

Jesus Himself said His disciples did not have the Spirit in them while He was here Himself.
The Spirit was WITH them at that time... but until the Day of Pentecost, He was not yet IN them.
Have you never read these verses:
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

I concur follow Jesus. We have too many people addicted to hearing a word from a human. I also see many platform prophets just telling people everything they want to hear and never anything on storms coming. 2020 hit many by surprise because they were clinging to happy shiny words of peace and prosperity. God showed me the world shaking and spoke of things we seeing happening that are unpleasant. Yet we have taught people to cling to words of everything will be perfect. I pray people seek God for themselves.

This is excellent and needful teaching. I was in a fairly small church that brought in a different profit every week. I was in church 15 hours a week. I grew weaker and weaker. Eventually, I believe that I was the w**** of babylon. I had thousands of supernatural satanic supernatural things happen to me this was after I had spent decades casting demons out of people and praying for them for healing. I cannot explain the terror that I went through and how this cost me eight and a half years of my life. These people knew that they were satanists and witches. This wasn't an accident. If you want to test the spirit have them tell you who Jesus is. Don't just say do you believe this? They can lie for sure but they cannot testify that Jesus is God the son come in the flesh was crucified Rose the third day and that he died for their sins. Yes Satanist and witches have been sent out to the churches.
After extreme praying and fasting holding on to isaiah58 i saw in a dream spider leaving my room and i was killing them with a broom. Unplugging water that was laying around and let it drain! Flushing away dirt. Killing demons in my dreams. It all about the power and blood of jesus and his word used as a weapon in the spirit. Read your bible there are blessings in obedience📖

Somehow it works for me and when i meditate on it its like a hedge of protection is on me and i praise the lord for his power in the book of proverbs. It learned me wisdom and knowledge. Whenever these entities want to make an agreement with me i reject it and ask the fater forgiveness for these sins i committed against him. Remember every good thing comes from him. In the book of proverbs and psalms you will learn alot and grow close to father God the creator of the universe. Paul and silas were in prison and they sang for God. It opened prison doors meaning be set free from spiritual boundage. Use praise and singing for the lord he loves it. Best thing to do is be honest with him how you feel and how you see things and after that ask him to remove this spirit of fear and dissappointment and replace it with the spirit of wisdom knowledge and understanding.Ask the holy spirit what to do. The bible is full of promises. When i feel weary i ask the holy spirit to give me a hunger for the word and just like that bam i start reading and praying. Its amazing how God works. Praise his name. The main thing to remember is that Jesus is the author and the finisher of your faith, not a prophet. God uses prophets. Not the other way around. A good basis in the Word of God should alleviate a lot of this. His Word is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. Pay attention and be sensitive to what the Holy Spirit tells you. It will line up with the Word of God. If a prophet is trying to control you with their gift, then put an egg in your shoe and beat it. No one has to utter prophetic words over you that do not lead you into genuine repentance, adds to you in some way, and/or enhances your walk with the Lord IF you do not let them.. No one has to milk you out of your money IF you don't let them. Jesus said let no man deceive you. So, that places the responsibility on us not to allow others to deceive us. Read your Word for yourself. Be led by the Spirit. The Holy Spirit.
And some of this foolishness wouldn't be going on if our soul was thirsting after the Living God and not after some prophetic word from some so called prophet we admire in the first place. Grow up body of Christ!
What about those prophets who never speak to sin but only " good things." Isn't that false also?

I have been having second heaven dreams! I don't hold onto them for long. They just don't seem right. Sometimes they seem catchy to the mind or ear. But they don't help. This is so true. Some light has been shed. I also make mistakes tho. I need hope. Not fear and condemnation. People act strange around me😒.

Not walking in love, wishing/praying evil on another, choosing not to forgive … are all examples of witchcraft. Utilizing control, and manipulation (not respecting/honoring ones’ free choice/free will) God doesn’t violate our free will. He respects our right to decide, even if it’s not Gods’ best for us.
Isn’t the prophetic just dealing with peoples fears, fears of lizards etc. somehow they are associated to trauma. I reported everything I remembered. I had major mental health issues because of the lack of justice. Now I have none. The prophetic is just healing. Acknowledging abuse and how issues like false memory etc are created by abusers. The perpetrators should have criminal records and should be kept out of places where they can harm others. The purpose of Christ was for all to be accountable. Done in a Spirit of love. Abusers are not lovers of anyone but themselves. Self centred entertainers of self. The Bible was written 2000 years ago. These perpetrators know what they are doing. How they often use churches as breeding grounds To get access to vulnerable people. The basis of occult is a lack of trust, a lack of control over abusers. A lack of justice. That is why the Bible indicates that few people are ever meant to be leaders. When David tried to cover up it finally came out and he suffered consequences. Holy Spirit undoes the wounded person slowly. Gently. and the result is a patient loving caring parent leader counsellor etc.
Jenniferit's because some of the leaders in churches need laborers and they just want to use the labors gifts when they're not delivered there not ready so, what happens there not really hearing from God, they're going by their assumptions and they're also going by their flesh. what happened to me is that I would get prophetic words from the prayer groups at the altar and the lord gave me Isaiah 30 and Isaiah 31 it becomes a snare to us when we go to them. God has had them come to us most of the time. He whispers in our ear who to go to. we do need to be careful because it's happened to me and I've seen some other people it's happened to and they began to look cross-eyed and all dorky donkey looking. I would come home from a false prophet first time I began to feel funny. God dealtt with me I stay away I'm very careful now.

I disagree with this video. Most prophets bring warnings and many times correction. They also bring words of encouragement and hope but when they prophesy a warning we should not automatically see them as false prophets. If we did that we would have to call the Apostle John who wrote the book of Revelation a false prophet. He brought a word of correction and warning to 5 out of the 7 churches. I believe what we must be aware of in this hour are what the Bible calls pillow prophets speaking out of their own hearts comforting people when God is blowing a trumpet and warning of coming judgment. We should be calling for repentance and discerning the times we are in. Obviously she is talking about Dana Coverstone in this video and I bear more witness with his dreams than the prophets that are prophesying good things to come. We are living in the last days and Jesus is coming with a sword in his mouth and he is coming for a bride who has made herself ready. These are serious , perilous times and it is time to decide who you are going to serve.

This is what happens when the church is not yielding to Holy Spirit. If Holy Spirit is not amongst us we will not be able to discern, instead of dealing with the problems of the world we are dealing with problems within the church! It's not supposed to be like that.
Thank you for this as I have studied the occult, but have always been able to discern. I think some of us are allowed to experience to lead others out...I have repented for studying the occult, but at the same time Jesus has allowed me to help others going down that road and led them back to Jesus or at least help to plant a seed.
I believe God does give warnings to people via prophecy but always gives a way out in the prophecy as well. The prophets of old always gave prophecy of judgment but God also told them that if the people turned from their wicked ways then they will see the merciful side of God.
It plays on the fears they already have.
You will recognize Gods people by their love & fruit. If they are afflicting, deceiving, harming, martrying, maiming or doing anything to bring you down...They are not your people. If a people rises among you that leads you wrong or into difficult situations they are not your people.

Ask if your Pastor can call others in the Church that are Spiritually strong to pray while your deliverance is taking place. It will probably take a few strong believers around and in unity and who will not stop until the deliverance is complete. Talk to your Pastor about what I just said and see how/what your Pastor believes about this. I am about to be involved in this very thing tomorrow night and there will be Spiritual people praying while the Ministers are a part of the deliverance.

It is long (1 hour), but the effort is worth it. You will feel the difference, you will be released. The prayers in there addresses those things you talked about.

Hello wonderful warriors, this is a timely message. However, is there some point where a Prophet can be used to warn the church as the Lord guides them? Not always, but does it mean we should only prophesy the 'good stuff?' Surely, the watchmen can also be shown impending calamities and warn the church as they did in the biblical days??? John of Patmos did prophesy eschatological messages that were really full of doom? Of course, there is a balance with regards to salvation for the lost and end-time rapture/hope of an eternal life with Christ.
I think we need to be balanced.

I am in total agreement with what you both are saying! When you are anointed to face the deeper things of enemy, you have to pay attention in the horror movies are also witches and sorcerers frequent.
