I think when a guy always feels the need to be with his friends over his girlfriend/wife it means that he is not matured enough for a relationship. His interests still lies on other areas mainly.

There are things in a relationship that are unforgivable- cheating and abuse are 2 of them but … I love how real you both are! It’s nice to relate to you ladies! I’m a mom but I still relate on many levels
The examples you both give of your partners are definitely reasonable enough for someone to end the relationship. The fact that both your partners talk to and treat you the way they do is inexcusable. It’s sad that you seem to believe this behaviour is normal and that you just push it to the side and settle with these men. A man who truly loves you and cares about you would treat you the complete opposite. Also, the point about people in the old generation fighting for their relationships more is not a valid one and only relates to marriages. Women in those days did not have the security you both have; they most likely had children and were housewives who relied on their husbands and therefore had no choice but to stay. More time, they were dying inside to get out of it. You don’t need to fight to stay with shitty men and make the relationship work, you’ll live completely fine without them, but you choose to lower your standards and value because you cannot comprehend the idea of a good man or you think someone will change for you
if you listen to the other seasons of this podcast you can tell they love hard so why would they wanna go through heartbreak and leave a serious relationship over things like forgetting mandi's favourite dairy milk chocolate . plus there is cultural differences since the guys they're with (im assuming ) have a more dominant or simple mind where 1 plus 1 is 2 and no other answer is allowed , which most ethnic guys have . And listen to the other eps on Spotify it made me realise that the girls are crazy too ( which I love )LOL I think its so easy to say leave instead of working on the minor differences plus their definition of love could be different . ginger beard hanging out with his friends is a social habit which can be solved its not like a crazy drug addiction. love the girls sm

I changed a lot now but as I am getting older I find it hard to find genuine friends or a relationship. Do you have tips to be more social? Sounds like the both of you have codependency issues with men… especially the things that Mandi has said about her boyfriend… he’s just not into you… I remember seeing her story and he was calling her slags etc and she laughed it off… a man who want you protects you… wouldn’t want to see you hurt… you don’t have to beg for attention… you don’t HAVE to be in a relationship… there is beauty in timing and waiting for the right person..

I’m in a Similar situation to Mandi but I’ve told him enough is enough now as he’s not committing enough. Spending more time with friends making plans more excited like nah I hate it. Made me feel ‘neglected’ and like I’m chasing him…I’ve told him he’s not ready and that’s fine we are on different journeys/stages in our life. He’s younger too…I can’t wait around as im in my 30s times getting on. I told him I’m not his ‘side chick’ he said ‘ Wdym I’m not with anyone else’ I said your main chick is your selfishness and your friends and I come second so I need more than that.
The problem with being single yes we do need to go out that’s true the problem is everyone else it attached and you end up being quite alone having to do everything on your own . It’s very difficult
