It's because F1 seasons happen entirely in one year. Majority of other sports run over 2 different years. Current football season is the 2020/21 season for example while the current F1 season is 2020. This is why this game is F1 2020.

DRS (Drag Reduction System): Can only be activated in special high speed zones. The top back wing levels, causing less air resistance and speeding the car up. DRS would be worse on turns, since there is less downforce which affects turning, since the car isn’t pushed down like it normally is.
