Four Types of F T Reactors

This video is made available as part of the biofuels education projects funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Basically, four F-T reactor designs have been used commercially these years -- the Multi-tubular Fixed Bed, the Slurry Bed and the Fluidized (with either Fixed or Circulating Bed) reactor. The Slurry and Fixed Bed reactor are used in Low Temperature F-T process (LTFT), while the Fluidized Bed reactors are used in High Temperature F-T process (HTFT).
