    So edifying.
We rest in & receive Christ, who is our justification.
None of our works, faithfulness or obedience contribute to our justification.
Otherwise you may despair on the one hand, that you failed to keep God's law
Or you may be smug, arrogant, and think "look how righteous I am!"
Abraham is not godly in and of himself, he exercised faith in the God who justifies the ungodly.
He simply received the promise. Passive faith

This video came at the perfect time for me as I'm about to preach on justification by faith alone. Great work. Thank you, brothers.

So what is a civilization supposed to build its laws upon? Man’s law or God’s law? Man’s wisdom or God’s wisdom?

Reformed Baptists affirm the general equity or fairness of the Civil Law of the Old Testament, we do not in any sense consider the Civil Law of National Israel binding today.

I have a world of respect for Dr. Waldron but this other gentleman seems wrong with the application of the 9th commandment. What about all of the passages about discernment of false teaching and doctrine? Christian unity and division is understood as being under orthodox Biblical doctrine and teaching and the pastors/elders living Biblically obedient lives. This guy needs to either be honest or re-state what he means because the results of what hes saying is universalism and open, blatant sin and heresy.

What part of the video are talking about? Because I can’t seem to find anything suspect.

@@brandonmalone5758 I was going to say at the 51 minute mark but that part ended up okay since he did recommend just leaving the church. He did recommend staying off social media but I wonder if he is on there.
