ive checked out some of these sites and theyre really scratching the surface. i think the best way to learn it is to use it for real life applications.
Unfortunately, when that article went out, they never explain how to get the job and what exactly to look for. I don’t see any prompt engineer titles/positions and I’ve asked literally over 20 people over LinkedIn about it and nobody knows the answer. If it was in such high demand, they would literally be hiring anybody right now, but unfortunately not.
I would really like to starting prompting as a side hustle but a still struggling to find a starting point. It would be great to have an extra or make this a primary income moving forward.
That is an awesome question because most people who hire want to see work history. It would look even cooler if you showed them how you created answer while doing your job, i.e I used chatgpt to save money and time. Golden ask for you!
Yes. Try uploading ur written experience skills and knowledge and ur resume and start using prompts. It would generate what skills, positions or Entrepreneurial business would be ideal for you. Its all in the prompts on how u construct it.
Maybe its just something to take advantage of when the opportunity is there, getting a ton load of money and maybe using it on another, more prospective career
This is a really good idea. I started, but I can't motivate myself to do it, because I've already learned so many things which never bore any fruit in terms of employment. But I guess that's a me problem.
Iam on the same page, and even more. Thats "me" problem always takes me to start New things and never finish them ,it feels like a cycle that never stops. I don't know if I am happy or not in finding this video. Honestly😢
@@flaviadasilvasantos3138 I don't have trouble finishing thing usually. My problem is that I have finished learning many skills, but it doesn't seem to matter to employers because I don't already have 5 years of experience in the specific thing they want me to do. My experience demotivates me with respect to getting education for employment.
Unfortunately, it's not a you problem. I have multiple certifications in unrelated jobs, trying to get my foot in the door, but that door never opened for me. Simply put, despite being capable, I've been 100 unsuccessful due to not having concrete connections anywhere important. It's really a lot about who you know with jobs, many cases that may override experience. Practically everything can be learned on the job anyway, that's just my opinion. Oh and that thing called luck, I just don't seem to have it as far as employment goes either. I'm to the point where I'll have to create something for myself that hopefully others will pay for because I don't see myself continuing to work in misery for others. I'm pretty unhappy right now so obviously I'm looking elsewhere.

Hello bri. I have questions... Does prompt engineering required coding proficiency or knowledge? Does it require or necessary to have deep learning, NLP or ML experience or deep knowledge of it? Does it beneficial for non IT people? Or it's only for people who are already working in AI/ML field? If a person with AI/ML experience and a person with basic knowledge of AI/ML & a person with non IT background aware about AI/ML but certified prompt engineer....then to whom company will give preference? Is it worth doing this course who is a non IT person with basic knowledge of AI/ML?..... Plz reply.
Anyone cannot be a prompt engineer. While anyone can provide input prompts to produce simplistic AI output, it takes an expert level mastery of the English language and in-depth knowledge of the problem domain to guide AI to generate useful output.
I'm looking at a lot of "prompt engineering" job descriptions these days, and those $175K-350K jobs also require advanced degrees usually in some field of computer or AI engineering. Just learning how to prompt isn't going to get you those 6-figure jobs.
Excellent video very informative without a lot of "filler". _// re your thumbnail would appreciate some detail on the how to and with whom to earn money. //Thanks & good luck to you. Chris M.
In computer science research, which encompasses fields such as computer science, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence, ethical standards have been neglected for at least two decades. A recurring problem is the renaming of well-established concepts without properly acknowledging their origins. For example, “prompt engineering” is simply a renaming of the concept of relevance feedback, but existing work on relevance feedback often goes unnoticed. This trend is pervasive: in deep learning, research unrelated to deep learning is frequently ignored and thus avoids comparison with lightweigt or frugal methods. Random projection has been renamed compressive sensing. Even basic concepts like the dot product, correlation and convolution have been renamed to create an illusion of innovation. The examples are numerous. Where are the intellectuals whose responsibility it is to denounce such abuses?
