Im very impressed with this chair people dont understand how important mobility is to someone in my situation im a t8 paraplegic with lots of life an learning i can grow and evolve to a better living situation with something like this this is A1 for someone like me where do i sign up
Some people do not understand the need for mobility for the mobility impaired. This would open up many opportunities for you to get "off the beaten patch" where its not easily accessible any other time. We do not control the subtitles. That is done by TH-cam. We upload a video and TH-cam puts across the subtitles what is said.
Of you want the subtitles to come across in Spanish, you can go to a video, click the settings icon (gear icon) on the bottom right and then choose subtitles and choose what language you want it in. If need be you can always choose "auto translate" in that section if need be. Hope this helps in the future when you are watching our videos.
driving over the tree root where u nearly tiped over had me panicking can u demo going up down curbs and a subway ( im in uk) as that what i find most nerve wracking as i slide down subway . there a sudden down than a chair with of flat and then up on a path i need use always end up in the shop wall so i never do that alone
We wouldn't be able to demo on a subway since were in Florida and don't have any subways here. Depending on the height of the curb, probably not a good idea, if it was a short curb it would take it but if the curbing is taller that would be an issue for tipping over or possibly getting hung up on the middle of the chair and being stuck.
What's the weight capacity on that ?
On the X8, the weight capacity is 350lbs if the unit has a seat lift. If it does not have a seat lift, you are looking at 400lbs. I am adding a link to our website with the X8. If you click on the link, under the photo of the unit you will see some tabs, one will say specifications. There you will be able to see all the specs of this unit. Also under the videos on TH-cam, you will see a description box. In the description box, we put links to all the units being reviewed in case you are interested in the unit being reviewed, you can view the chair, get the price and specs as well as purchase if wanted. @@Marcsmobility Thanks for the information. I understand they want like $15,000 -to $22,000 for one of those? That's to much money for someone on a fixed income from SSDI. Plus i have disassembled my Jazzy 1450 to waterproof the electrical for rain and snow and found out it's made in China. Nothing built in China / parts and labor for assembly is worth $18,000.
First off, Pride Mobility products are made in the US in Pennsylvania. The parts are made in China but assembled in the US. As for the X8, it is not a Chinese unit, it is Australian and manufactured in the US.
@@Marcsmobility I am not trying to argue or fight. Ilike you and your family there in Lakeland, Florida. You and your son are the most informative people i've seen and spoken with here on TH-cam and your website. My real beef / complaint is with Medicare anyways. They won't cover anything made for the great outdoors.
Nobody was trying to argue or fight my friend, I was just giving you correct information as to where the unit was made when you motioned Chinese. I agree with you on insurance paying for anything outdoors, they only want to pay for units being used in the home which most people who are stuck in the home want to get outside.
