Thanks for finding this. I had this on a VHS from when it was new sent by a family member who lives on Angora Hill. Not gonna lie, although I'm a Santa Fe fan (I get violently ill when people just call the BNSanta Fe just "BN"), but I liked this. Doesn't hurt one of the guys in the Alliance portion here is family friend.
Nice, vintage, Burlington Northern promotional film. Thanks for sharing! Considering how railroads such as today's BNSF are cutting back on coal train operations, especially in Wyoming, you can now almost say, "This WAS coal Country."
Upon further research and inspection of locomotives, this was recorded 1989. This can also be proven by most C30-7s lacking their class lights, but still retaining their beacons. The last years of the best years in the BN! Sad to see that only 6 years after they dissappeared.

Back in the days when working for the railroad was fun.

Thanks for the info and I received these vids from my dad back in the day when he worked for the FRISCO and then the BN after the merger.

I'm thinking back to the early 90's, but I could be mistaken.

Yes indeed they're hiding out on some shortline or regional railroad.
