I agree one hundred percent. I think Goodwood has some of the best racing. And the variety of the race cars that you will see there is incredible. And some of the best drivers race at Goodwood. 😊

Group 5 needs to make a comeback. Right now the closest thing we have to a modern day equivalent is DTM or GT500 cars but they’re all based on the same chassis

(in 1970's that was alot of horsies) And the big block is the 7,654 cc modified Greenwood-monstrosity which provides 750hp... in the 1970's aswell... quite a monster in the field of other monsters such as zakspeed ford capri, producing around 500 hp 4-cylinder engine (most powerful variants up to 600hp), and the BMW 320 Turbo which could also produce up to 600hp in its most powerful form. Some say the greenwood big boi could even produce up to 900hp.... all we know is, it had the highest topspeed in the 1976 le mans. (220mph/354kmh) :>

I owned a Schnitzer 2002 BMW Gr 5 car , the one painted in the German flag color , yellow, black and red , so old to a fellow from England about 30 years ago
Ahhh Ric Wood Blue Capri, it is not a real Zakspeed Capri but a Replica made using one of the last originart part for it. Ric Wood himself is a known specialist for Zakspeed Capri.
I have seen a few "historic events" @ Watkins glen, and they never run over 85%-90% The cars are to valuable, and the drivers don't need to risk it. ...But fun never the less.
I wish Rfactor 2 had more than just the BMW 320 turbo gto. It's great and super fun to drive but I'd want that Porsche 935 K3 or the Moby Dick in my life 😅

I miss Group 5, it was such an underrated era of racing but I loved it. Cars with masses more power than grip.
