I love this sort of video. I get to see how different people approach the same challenges. Your approach to drilling the holes was different then what I've seen other craftsman do, for example. Thank you for sharing your skill.

Excellent design and choices. I like that you use the air movement of the bass port to help cool the DC/DC step-down. I have only two VERY minor suggestions... First, use a less obvious plastic for the 3D printed parts like a stainable woodPLA. It's such a pretty piece and the neon green is distracting. The second suggestion is that I feel like the Bluetooth receiver seems unprotected. Some sort of hard plastic shield over it would be preferable to it being exposed, plus it looks a little out of place. I'd love to have something like this myself, and I appreciate you using the Makita battery as opposed to trying to hack together your own solution. I use Ryobi tools myself and having a common battery platform is invaluable!
Good instruction, well laid out design, loved the use of a tool battery. About the only question I had was tuning the box volume & port tube to the chosen drivers. I've watched a few of your videos & subscribed after seeing this build.

This was worth every minute, awesome! I love the build and I have a bunch of those Arylic amps. One thing is the crossovers make a world of difference if you match them to your speakers. I love the idea of using a power tool battery too, they have a high output. Free pallet wood is a great idea as I can get pallets made from hardwood like new.
One thing is definitely wrong is drivers compatibility. Woofers must be bigger, deep coned, so more powerful and split volumed to complete right frequency spectrum (flat) and adequate power. Splitting volumes with sub drivers will not affect mid drivers and tweeters to run properly. So your setup has focus in midbase and highs. Lows aren't pronounced. Or mids are useless in this setup. But the work done is definitely amazing! My applauses! 👏👏👏

Looks good, but I don't envy whoever sets about replacing the drivers. When I repaired my speakers I silently blessed whoever decided to use crimp connectors and leave plenty of cable slack.

Craft & Mechanical 100% Electrical 85% Acoustic 60% Really nicely done, but the whole point is to get great sound without intermodulation between left & right. V2.0 ?
LYTE Yearz without thinking too hard, two issues come to mind. Separate the sealed volume for left & right channels. Is the internal volume correct for the drivers being used? The reflex tube needs to be tuned & duplicated for each channel. You can probably skate a thin line between calculated perfection and decent sound... The rigid box is a good start if the resonances and tuning are close to a harmonic of the drivers. I’d buy one if it went the extra distance! *Question*... How good is the response and audio performance of bluetooth in general?
Low frequency dosnt have much stereo anyway so in this case it works fine as a push-pull design that makes the use smaller boxes to achieve lower frequencies, its actually really smart thing to do.

This product will cost about $400 or more if you try to sale it. I saw the oak wood speaker you made at Oct. Both very good. A builder make every detail even in side the box under cover 100% perfect. Hard to believe. The idea you hook up the Makita battery is very good. I have a lot of Dewalt batteries, try to think a way to use them, you give a good example. Thanks.
After all that incredible work building a beautiful speaker box, you left those 3D printed parts on the outside green! Why did you do that? You should have painted them black for consistency and uniformity.
Very Clever the addition of the Cordless Drill Battery!........The reality is there is thousands of dollars of tools and machines here to build one of these and those components (speakers, crossover units bluetooth modules etc ) that were used are starting to get "up there" in terms of price...Dont get me wrong very impressive build....BUT expensive to build for a home handyman...even if he had half of those tools 3D printers are NOT exactly cheap to buy...and IF you find a CHEAP one it wont last...and the wood planer/thicknesser are NOT cheap either.....as once you ADD ALL the tools and components prices together better to buy a JBL Boombox for about $500 NZ ......but very nice build!!

Closed speaker technology is how to divide the sound wall between the speakers so that the new sound is good. Your speaker is only bulky in size but does not sound good. You are missing this.

Place the dc plug inside that makita batteryholder to prevent both powersources to become active at same time. Problem can occur if accu is empty and external dc powersource is too weak.
Both power sources can not active the same time because when you choose the power source that is used as the makita battery by turning the switch to the 2st position, the power going from the DC jack to the circuit is turned off.
I liked the vid and you seem skilled but all the links (speakers) you got is to AliExpress and not the original inventor/manufacturer that you show in this video. Do you use original parts or do you use rip offs?
In this video I used an old woofer removed from an old speaker so I suggested a similar speaker in the description of the video. The remaining ingredients I bought them at aliexpress. Thank for watching my video!
