We bought a pocket about a month ago. Starting to feel like retirement around here. It drives like a dream, reasonably good milage. My wife, my dog and I sleep very comfortably. All the comforts of home, but outside. A life changing purchase. We love it!
I just bought my Solis pocket a few weeks ago. Just have spent 1 night in the desert at a campground to test things out. Thanks for posting the video, given me some ideas on things I might need.
Congrats on your new van and thank you for sharing. After watching your video, I am convinced now that my first RV must have lithionics, jackery and all those wires requires patience which I don't have :)
I was thinking about buying a pocket but then found out it doesn't have a generator or lithium and no hot water; after watching your video I knew that this van isn't a right fit for me, ill probably go with a thor rize. Love your video though and glad it works for you! 😃
Loved your video. I have been interested in getting the Pocket as it fits what I want and can fit in my driveway and be legal to city requirements regarding RV rules.
I would like to plug my solar panel into the zamp plug on the outside have you found an adapter? Zamp wants to charge $45 for a cord and I’m not willing to pay that.
Not sure if you added a wifi booster in this video but this van is pre-wired for one. Top left cabinet above the dinette there’s a port of some kind to add one.
Nice setup however I feel van life is bit overrated. I'd rather drive my car, and stay in an AirBnb or camp. At $100 a day, it'll take 200 weeks to payoff this van!

What real camping looks like with one of these vans. Thank you so much. Tired of the perfect instagram stages

I’m planning on making a new video showing all my mods and ideas. Congratulations on your pocket.

I thought it fit me with price and all.
@@theretirednomad8801 I totally get it! It’s definitely the cheapest option out of all the vans I’ve seen which is what attracted me to it
Enjoyed spending time with you! I can’t wait to get my Solis Pocket!!!
Was that at the lake?
How’s the cell service up there??
Sorry I don’t remember
Wanna see more videos on your trips with this van... very nice van btw!
Coming soon!

Me too
Keep on making videos about your trips. Thinking about the pocket or the 59P. Bathroom inside or no bathroom with the Pocket.
Hmmmm ? Safe Travels

How do you handle the heat? I know you cant run AC without shore power, but dang it looks hot.
Follow the cooler weather. It’s called chasing 70

Thinking about getting a Solis Pocket. What do you think about the bed?
Needs a foam topper
@@theretirednomad8801 good to know! Thank you! Do you have a 2" foam topper? 3"?

Your freezer isn't closed! Its not shut! Dang.
Yeah I saw that too and thought that will be a very expensive lesson one day when all that meat is lost on one hot summer day.
