Sound to Remove Water From Earbuds/AirPods | ACTUALLY WORKS

- We've all experienced accidentally letting our earbuds get flooded by water. I designed this synth track specifically for helping remove water from earbud, headphone, AirPod, and EarPod speakers. It uses very deep tones mixed with medium and high pitches to create vibrations in the earbuds that will help expel water. Make sure to turn the volume up high (3/4ish) so that it is able to give the best chance of restoring your headphone speakers. I had to upload it a little quieter so the bass tones would not max out. I don't recommend listening to it as it plays, it might give you a headache. Don't worry, you should be hearing distortion and clicks from the speakers, especially during very deep bass sections.
I actually tested this sound on real headphones. They were Apple EarPods. I submerged one headphone in water and moved it around to get it as flooded as possible. I then dried the earbud off and started playing this sound through it. At first, it produced almost no sound. Only faint bass was audible. As I let the sound play though, they progressively got better. The bass first came back and then was followed by higher pitched tones. After about 7 minutes the EarPod was back to original working order. I gave it light taps and shakes as well occasionally.
The sooner you use this sound on water logged headphones the better. You want to get as much water off the actual speakers before it dries and possibly causes damage. It might not work in every situation but it's worth a try, maybe it will save you from having to buy new headphones! I hope it helps!
By request I have created a longer version (10 hours) of this video. You can now leave your headphones playing this sound overnight so that hopefully you wake up to them fully functioning!

Tried this out of desperation after dropping and leaving an AirPod in water for over an hour… lost hope after 20mins of this, but now in the third play it worked! I can hear both AirPods clearly!! Thank you so much 🙏

This 100% works, i found my "lost" headsets in the washing machine after it had been operating for 1hr 30min and thought it was over for them... tried playing something and i could hear water inside, played this whole sound and now its all good

Tried everything from cleaning my earbuds to resetting them, surprisingly this is the only method that worked. You most definitely deserve a like, damn, bless you for this.
I have generic Chinese Bluetooth from amazon and I was getting no sound right side.
I removed the rubber bit and put a few drops of rubbing alcohol into the buds and blew through the hole so the alcohol could flush the water out. Worked to get a faint sound now I'm running this

so one my earbud's touch control stopped working while the other one is working just fine. I guess it's from when I was cleaning probablt it got some water...I tried this now for the first time and still no result...wonder if I just need to replay it multiple times

Oh my God, this also works on speaker. I just discovered this one and tried this to my speaker that has muffled sound because it got wet of the rain 2 years ago. It gotten a lot better at first attempt, the voice are much clearer, and the beat got much clearer. However, the bass are still bad. On second attempt, it's much better, the bass are kinda bassing now. And on my 3rd-4th attempt, It got much better, it's much clearer now. Thank you so much for uploading this!

Last night I came back home a little drunk. In order to not disturb my flatmates I listened to music with my earbuds, but, as I said, I was drunk so I was washing my face and drinking from the sink. Obviously my earbud fell twice from my ear and the secone time it fell right into the hole of the sink. I managed to take it out and I put into a cup full of rice for all night long. Nothing had changed. Then I played this video for about 30 minutes (also at ×2 speed as I read in one comment), I followed the tips of tapping the earbud facing down and shaking it. Doing so I also recommend to clean the earbud with a piece of cloth to drain the water that's coming out of it. And now, unexpectedly, it works again :') thank you, you saved me two dozens of euros!

Jamming in the shower and fell into the tub. A bit muffled but it works now! Maybe a few more shakes and some rice can take it all out.

hey, this might help!! after you've done this. if you feel your earphones sound so soft or you can't hear the bass. try to blow it. if there's a small hole in your earphones/buds, try to blow it manually. this might help clear the water in front of the speaker.

I dont know what earbuds you are using but most devices while being waterproof are not waterproof in salt water so you should be careful
if the water completely dried u would have had dry salt whoch would prolly kill it forever

My oneplus bullets wireless z2 left buds fall into water and started sounding low in even full volume while the right bud was ok. I tried this at night for 20 minutes. Nothing happened. At morning i tried again playing it in the loop for 1 hour and hanged the buds into direct sunlight. Now it's working fine.

TIp: Do a check of the sound with a music before trying this.
I ended up doing this little experiment without evaluating how bad the problem was... if there was even a big of a problem to begin with! But I dived in a 3m deep pool so... end of all, the sound is working with a bit of difference between both sides
Start of video to around 5-6min worked for me.. galaxy buds.. walk w/ L/R..(only R. needed)
. loosely in pocket for a bit. Used a few Nintendo style blows 2-3x.. set in case.. take out case. Let video start from where left off while fumbling around in hand.. (in ear optional).. around 10min mark.. i.e. 🎶 🎵.. hopefully the magic works.. I know I'm impressed.. didn't want to buy new ones.. especially not within 2 months of purchasing these..
