I love how this track starts with the "giyg strikes back!" track from the original earthbound intro. Granted, it said "the war against Giygas!" in the localization but I'm almost certain the choice there was intentional. I like how this cover finds a way to emulate the "slot machine noises" from the original.

After finishing Earthbound for the first time, I now resonate this song more with Earthbound than Undertale. It's actually pretty refreshing, hearing this and not immediately thinking about an overly edgy AU version of Chara, and instead thinking about Earthbound's title screen "The War Against Giygas" Awesome cover btw
