48 HOURS IN JOSHUA TREE (what to do and where to stay)

Joshua Tree was the perfect place for us to get ahead on work before taking on a jam-packed weekend with old friends. Maybe it was the breathtaking scenery quilted with dreamy sunsets, or maybe it was the lack of cell service that allowed us to disconnect from the social world. Two nights in a pitched tent sent rest and rejuvenation as our 48 hour trip in Joshua Tree turned into a wellness retreat.

I have been following you lately..it is nice to see your road trip from a different prospective...I say that because I just recently retired early this year...after which we did a road trip exactly where you guys.went...i.see the difference from younger generations to older ones like us.Just like Chad my husband did the driving all.the way to Skagit Washington to see the tulips in April..keep up the great job.

I'd highly recommend the Ryan Ranch trail and the Wall Street Mill Trail if you like ruins or historical places. Ryan Ranch is right next to the Ryan campground.

When I buy honey in a plastic container, I right away put it into a strong glass jar so that once it's crystallized, I can reheat the jar in water in a pan on the stove and melt it down again....decrystalizing it.
