The unscripted dialogs were perfect and absolutely shows the actors the marvelous acting they are able to do. These actors are felt like family to a lot of us. Here's hoping Yellowstone will continue on for years to come. Other series can do it why not this wonderful one also?

Whew. Thank you for clearing that up. I was thinking what a sadistic thing to write in a movie like this. The brother gives his sister back alley kind of abortion, at her request???? ( I obviously have not seen this show. But it looks good, now that I know the brother sister abortion was not a part of the story.)
The thing is, if you watch the show closely, you know what happened. He agreed to have Beth get the abortion, without telling her the consequences. That’s why John was so pissed. Beth didn’t know she was getting a hysterectomy, until after it was done.
Hands down the best action drama/western of all time. The cast, writers, Costner esp, and Sheridan's creativity is unmatched. There can never ever be anything that could ever come close to even simulating never mind matching it; and there shouldn't be. Let it stand in it's own right. This is a timeless piece of cinematic history.
You may want to watch the show. Jaime didn’t perform the abortion. He took her to the reservation family planning and they sterilized her as part of the abortion procedure. She hates him because instead of taking her somewhere else, he agreed to let them sterilize her and he didn’t tell her.

Seems unlikely that they would perform such a serious procedure without informing the patient. I just watched that scene and now I finally understand why she hates Jaime so much.
Love the show! Love Taylor Sheridans character! Have ALWAYS loved Kevin Costner! That being said, Rip & Beth are a HUGE reason why this show is the best. Cole & Kelly have unbelievable chemistry & compatibility for their characters and just add the "spice" that keeps you glued. And you mix that with Sheridans amazing story and an amazing A-list cast.... ...and it doesn't get any better than "Yellowstone ".
Can’t agree more. Kelly and Cole are amazing. Moved the bar fight scene in season 5 pt 1, where the woman tried to pick Rip up. “Where’s your wife.” “Right over there, looking at you.” I never laughed so much. Loved that Teeter was there to back her up, not that she needed it.
I sat on July 3rd and July 4th and watched all on paramount's channel episodes I'm fresh and caught up I'm ready for the 4th fall episode. BRING IT !!!!
I absolutely love Rip. He adds so much to the show. Rip and Beth are my favorite couple on TV, maybe of all time. Beth is such a trainwreck, Rip has so many issues, but together... PERFECT.
@@OhLanie you’re right, he does bring so much, that you can’t really pick a favorite scene. I did love the biker scene, right up to, and including when they came back for their bikes. Coming up on John, then being surprised when Kayce, Rip, Ryan, Lloyd, and I believe Colby turned their flashlights on with guns in their hands was crazy. Then to be told to dig their graves. There’s no messing with the Dutton’s because not only do they retaliate, but the ranch hands are all to happy to jump in as well. With the exception of Walker, I think the other cowboys look at the Dutton’s not so much as their employer, but as an extension of family. Two of the most powerful moments where it shows that is when they all went to get Tate back, and the retaliation for what was done to Colby and Teeter. Now beside the biker scene, another one I loved, and made me laugh, is what Kayce and Rip did when the ranch hands got beat up at the bar. When Kayce and Rip opened up the double doors, stood a couple seconds looking in, then opened up the trailer door and let the bull loose in the bar, I almost fell out of my chair. No matter how many times I watch the seasons, that makes me laugh every time. I read one of the crew came into a local bar, and asked them if they would let them turn a bull loose in their bar. I guess he said yes, because the scene was hilarious.
I too am sick of story headlines that are totally false. Love this show also have it on dvd want it to start up please! Beth’s face was makeup and might add it was awesome, and how they dealt with the healing process was just so real. Excellent job👏👏👏
This is my favorite show of all time, I binged watched all 3 seasons back to back and when I finished I didnt know what to do with my life lololol but seriously, Kevin has always been one of my very favorite actors and everyone in the cast was just born to play these parts.
I love love the show it has actors that are great and they pull you in to the show. It pulls out your emotions. Crying, laughing, anger, love, I really appreciate the actors, they are terrific. I am 84, I can hardly wait for the new season. High five to all of you.
Its cool in a way. I love how the show makes it to were everyone that lives in town is just oblivious. They are transplants and would never call the fbi etc about all the gun fights and drama that goes on and then the local cops do nothing
I loved this post....I got tears all over again. Yellowstone has captivated us beyond being simply "the audience". We've been drawn into the landscape as well as the dynamics of this powerful family of diverse personalities within which their stories have become part of our emotions on a weekly basis. Kudos to the talented actors and the creator, Taylor Sheridan. Thank you for delivering a slice of phenomenal television, something the world of television has sorely needed for a long time.
I stumbled across Yellowstone in February of 2021 while I was in the hospital. After watching for 10 minutes I was hooked and I knew that when I got home I had to find this show. The rest is history--I've been watching ever since. Have watched the first three seasons three times and I'm SO happy to be starting on Season four. I love everything about Yellowstone and I'm not typically a fan of westerns. But this show . . . oh yeah!

That was one of my most favorite things about it. So many shows go from hurt to healed in 30 minutes. Her injuries actually lasted and healed. A little touch that made it even better.

Just so Rip can get his revenge on the person or person's who tried to get rid of the whole Dutton family and all of their ranch hands. As far as Jamie the adoptive son I really don't think he had anything to do with the trying to wipe out the whole Dutton family. They are making you think that but there will be a twist and it's definitely one of their many enemies who would kill for the ranch and hundreds of acres of property. It will be a well watch show from all of Yellowstone's hundreds of millions of fans.

And when he does save the ranch I think the writers will leave us with a season shocker wondering if Jamie was killed in a gun fight. I watched Kevin in an interview today explaining how Yellowstone was supposed to be a 10 episode series. He said after they started filming they knew that the story of Yellowstone had more depth to it than 10 episodes. And I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad he realized that.
Little Lady Thanks so much For the new update. Great minds think alike. I totally agree with your theory on Jamie. That he would become a hero in Beth's and his adoptive dad's eyes. He's always wanted to be such a part of the family. And when he made that decision for Beth to have that abortion and all of her lady parts be aborted. I think he really didn't know what he did. He thought he was helping her. But she just never forgave him. So maybe they will all forgive Him. Like you said ther will be a lot of twists to this story line. How they are going about script writing and having the actors do what seems best at the moment is working very well! The chemistry with each of the actors makes the series more realistic and addicting to watch. There’s a lot of awesome talent that these actors contribute in making Yellowstone one of the best shows to watch.
How can anyone say anything about perfection. These characters have become embedded in my life. I have never seen conversations that said so much with one word or just one look.

I love this show! I think it's the best television show I've watched in a very long time and I think this is Cole Hauser's best role to-date! Hopefully, the writers, actors and directors stay the same.... because it's brilliant!
Definitely Cole Hauser makes the show! He’s perfect in this role. I honestly don’t like Costner and I don’t particularly like him in this role either so I find Cole Hauser Beth Reilly and Luke Grimes really steal the show! But Zi also love Rainwater, Mo , all the ranch hands especially Isn Bohen.

Flawless acting by all, I have so many favorite moments in this show I have a hard time picking one. I will say that Teeter is a great addition to the cast. This is one epic show, can’t wait for more.
Love the unscripted moments, makes it more real and tugs at heart. Love sexy rip and Beth. Especially loved the scene in the store where the bitch store lady accused Beth,s sister in law of stealing and she calls Beth. The look on the sales lady when Beth walked in and said girl was her sister in law was priceless . When Beth did a number on the lady we all cheered. Man Beth is one hell of a tough broad, yes👍
We really like this show. It’s so hard to wait a week for the next episode, but it’s almost impossible to wait for the next season at the end of each season.
Now typically when my mom tells me about a show and wants me to watch it I usually don't pay her no mind. Because 9 times out of 10 she watches boring shows but for Yellowstone I have to thank her for introducing me to this show because it's without a doubt one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.
The unscripted moments are what has made Yellowstone what it is. Best series I’ve ever watched and We as a family watch older episodes and see things we didn’t see the first time. That area the Ranch is filmed? Is one of the most Beautiful places I’ve ever seen.
Apparently, many (although not all) of the scenes are filmed in Utah & not Bozeman Montana. Only know this, as my sister and Brother in law own land in Bozeman & my oldest niece and her fiance live and work in Bozeman.

Personally, I love Yellowstone too, so I’m excited for season 4 to start also. The best part of Justified was Walton Goggins, and he was even better in Son’s Of Anarchy. Ease up on people, just because they happen to really like a show you don’t. It’s a great show, and many people are excited to see it, since season 4 has been delayed for 5 months. When I first scrolled to figure out what I wanted to watch, I came upon Yellowstone. I watched a part of the first episode and thought I wasn't going to enjoy this show and stopped watching. Spending my Thanksgiving with my son and family, that show came up and they were raving about it. I decided to give it another shot and boy in glad I did. One of the best series I've seen and waiting with anticipation for Season 4 and when I can watch 1886 with Tim and Faith. Amazing, amazing, and amazing 👏
I definitely agree that Yellowstone, has such talented characters with such a good story. I like it that Taylor places himself as a member of the cast.
They are brilliant from a brilliant bunch of actors. It has kept the depth of dimension going in this amazing series. Kudos to Taylor Sheridan for allowing them the freedom that’s gives life to Yellowstone!

I believe that when actors drop their script and react like they would in their real life. Kevin Costner is such an excellent actor and reacts in movies like it is something that has actually happened in his life. He has been in so many wonderful movies. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are such. good method actors and I so hope he doesn't die in the show. Yellowstone will never be as good as it is without RIPS personality and the love of Beth's character. I can't wait for the 5th installment.
The scene where Rip ran over the bikes was planned well in advance. If you notice, the brush guard is actually changed for the type of guard seen on tow trucks with a heavy rubber covered bumper below the grill guard. Also, below that is a metal frame work designed to keep the bikes from getting under the truck and causing it to lose steering. It disappears later in that scene. The actors may not have known it was going to happen, but it had plenty of planning ahead of time.
If Cole asked if the motorcycles were covered by insurance then they definitely discussed the scene ahead of time. As you said, probably only they knew so it would be a surprise, and it was a good one, but not off the cuff as they want you to believe.
For me personally, I think the improvisation makes it more believable, real and spontaneous. There's a lot of trust between Sheridan and his actors. All high caliber if I may say so.
Being sterilized should never be a requirement of a facility that performs abortions. That facility was meant for the Native American women who asked for an abortion. That sterilization demand was not fair to them either!
The unscripted lines and acting are part of the feelings that I can relate to with the emotions portrayed as part of life. I don't believe it was. I believe it was the cowboy that she slept with to make Rip jealous! That's why she so desperately wanted it done! If it were Rip's child, I believe she'd have told him & kept it... if John didn't kill Rip & take him to the train station! Lol Or make them abort bc they were too young. BTW, wasn't Beth's mother already dead when this happened? Also, adding that Sterilization could have been tubes tied. Perhaps that's all it was. However, since Beth... I'm certain has had female exams since she's been an adult. One would think she'd know if she had a uterus at this age. This leads me to believe it was a complete hysterectomy. Or at the least, a partial one. I don't agree with previous statements that she wouldn't be up walking around... I had a complete hysterectomy and was on my feet the next day, even back to work in a week. I guess it's all in how a woman handles pain, & if they're looking for empathy/attention, etc. Also, if complications occurred. Just saying... wasn't a big deal to me. the procedure was a breeze.

The imprompted senses all fit in so well they didn't look at all imprompted. No one knew, shows excellent acting held by all. The only good thing about the shows long delay this summer in my opinion is, that we still get to see it in November otherwise it would now be over till next season...... looking so forward to seeing Yellowstone, the best show on TV. ♥️
While I did root for Teeter I feel I need to let you know most bikers aren't always that disrespectful. I lived 24 yrs as a biker raised 4 kids who are polite & Christian. As in all walks of life there's gonna be an ass somewhere in the group.😁 l do LOVE this series I actually bought it & am impatiently waiting for each weekly installment ! Once I started watching Yellowstone I told my entire family about it from my sister and brother to my son who lives half the nation away from me. Everybody totally loves it almost as much as me. I have the first 3 seasons dvds and have watched them all I dont know how many times. I loved Sons of Anarchy too but Yellowstone might be a tiny bit more favored. Ive also watched SOA all seasons over and over again too. Love em all.

Ive personally never seen Montana except in movies and such but I lived in Colorado for almost 15 years. My son was born and lived his whole life there and has seen more of it than I have. He was offered a job in Montana years ago and he went to Kalispell for the interview. He sent pictures from his phone but said Montana is even more beautiful than Colorado. I could believe that without alot of doubt. I could absolutely see and understand why you would fight so hard to keep it the way it is without the 'big city" crap killing the hell out of it and ruining it for all time. Montanans, for God's sake, destroy EVERYTHING that would attempt to turn Montana's beauty into just one more URBAN WHOREHOUSE. Keep it just the way it is so folks like me will hopefully one day get to come up there and see it for ourselves. I'd appreciate it.

I love finding out that the true emotions I feel vibrating off this show is more real than most people would think! Also, there’s nothing like improv to improve a show whether in small theaters or BIG HOLLYWOOD!
Jamie didn't "perform" anything on Beth regarding the abortion, She asked him to take her to the reservation doctor, and they told Jamie that sterilization was a part of the rules there, and that it was required, when he went out to get Beth, he simply did NOT tell her that the procedure was also going to include a hysterectomy, and therefor she was unaware. So she blames Jamie for not informing her that was going to be included, forever ruining her ability to procreate.
Actually you missed out a very important point. Jamie originally took her to an abortion clinic in town. She refused to go there because she didn’t want her dad to find out. That is when he took her to the Indian reservation. I don’t think they did hysterectomy they simply sterilized her. Women only get hysterectomies in very serious situation because they need those hormones. But they do sterilize women and young girls when they get an abortion at the Indian reservation.. I have always thought it was ridiculous that people would be mad at Jamie. Beth refused to take responsibility for her actions because she did not want anyone to find out and she went to Jamie he was just a teenager himself trying to help his sister. Jamie did his best especially given how difficult Beth is. Her being mad at him is her projecting her own self-loathing and inability to take responsibility for her own actions. Actually I think her character hurts the show. She is by far over-the-top and unrealistic. In real life people are not put up with the bullshit that she dishes out. Men and women would punch her in the face and kick her ass on a regular basis. She would get fired from jobs left and right. No one like her would become successful in real life. Especially not a woman.
@@nedhill1242 She clearly states in the show, that she had a hysterectomy, whereas just taking the uterus is still considered a partial hysterectomy, IE: leads to sterilization as well of course, leaving the ovaries will continue to provide those hormones.

I’m so in love with this show. Growing up on our place, raising Cattle, Hogs and Horses, this show had more realistic scenes than ppl realize. Taylor knows his stuff and it shows!!!!!!! All the way down to the barbed wire in 1883!!! My FAVORITE SHOW EVER TO DATE!!!!! It’s a scene if my life, just not the train station and THE BRAND ON THE BODY! Had my Dad thought of it, he might have done it!😂😂😂
I think the way they put the blame on Jamie is wrong. He was young. How was he supposed to know the potential risks? And... he was just doing what Beth asked for help with. I don't like the way Jamie is treated in the show, but that is what makes it so life-like; the fact that there are so many imperfect relationships and dysfunction. I love the show.
A lot of people keep saying Yellowstone is the best show of all time, while I agree that it is one of the best, it would sure be hard to say it's the best with competition like Justified, The Wire and most of all I think, The West Wing. But I think Yellowstone is right there with them.

Hands down the best action drama/western of all time. The cast, writers, Costner esp, and Sheridan's creativity is unmatched. There can never ever be anything that could ever come close to even simulating never mind matching it; and there shouldn't be. Let it stand in it's own right. This is a timeless piece of cinematic history.
You may want to watch the show. Jaime didn’t perform the abortion. He took her to the reservation family planning and they sterilized her as part of the abortion procedure. She hates him because instead of taking her somewhere else, he agreed to let them sterilize her and he didn’t tell her.

Seems unlikely that they would perform such a serious procedure without informing the patient. I just watched that scene and now I finally understand why she hates Jaime so much.

...and it doesn't get any better than "Yellowstone ".

Can’t agree more. Kelly and Cole are amazing. Moved the bar fight scene in season 5 pt 1, where the woman tried to pick Rip up. “Where’s your wife.” “Right over there, looking at you.” I never laughed so much. Loved that Teeter was there to back her up, not that she needed it.

I absolutely love Rip. He adds so much to the show. Rip and Beth are my favorite couple on TV, maybe of all time. Beth is such a trainwreck, Rip has so many issues, but together... PERFECT.
@@OhLanie you’re right, he does bring so much, that you can’t really pick a favorite scene. I did love the biker scene, right up to, and including when they came back for their bikes. Coming up on John, then being surprised when Kayce, Rip, Ryan, Lloyd, and I believe Colby turned their flashlights on with guns in their hands was crazy. Then to be told to dig their graves. There’s no messing with the Dutton’s because not only do they retaliate, but the ranch hands are all to happy to jump in as well. With the exception of Walker, I think the other cowboys look at the Dutton’s not so much as their employer, but as an extension of family. Two of the most powerful moments where it shows that is when they all went to get Tate back, and the retaliation for what was done to Colby and Teeter. Now beside the biker scene, another one I loved, and made me laugh, is what Kayce and Rip did when the ranch hands got beat up at the bar. When Kayce and Rip opened up the double doors, stood a couple seconds looking in, then opened up the trailer door and let the bull loose in the bar, I almost fell out of my chair. No matter how many times I watch the seasons, that makes me laugh every time. I read one of the crew came into a local bar, and asked them if they would let them turn a bull loose in their bar. I guess he said yes, because the scene was hilarious.

Its cool in a way. I love how the show makes it to were everyone that lives in town is just oblivious. They are transplants and would never call the fbi etc about all the gun fights and drama that goes on and then the local cops do nothing
I loved this post....I got tears all over again. Yellowstone has captivated us beyond being simply "the audience". We've been drawn into the landscape as well as the dynamics of this powerful family of diverse personalities within which their stories have become part of our emotions on a weekly basis. Kudos to the talented actors and the creator, Taylor Sheridan. Thank you for delivering a slice of phenomenal television, something the world of television has sorely needed for a long time.

I stumbled across Yellowstone in February of 2021 while I was in the hospital. After watching for 10 minutes I was hooked and I knew that when I got home I had to find this show. The rest is history--I've been watching ever since. Have watched the first three seasons three times and I'm SO happy to be starting on Season four. I love everything about Yellowstone and I'm not typically a fan of westerns. But this show . . . oh yeah!

The makeup job on Beth after she was attacked was excellent, even more so as we saw her gradually healing and the signs fading!
That was one of my most favorite things about it. So many shows go from hurt to healed in 30 minutes. Her injuries actually lasted and healed. A little touch that made it even better.

Casey and his wife and most of all Beth. As far as Jamie the adoptive son I really don't think he had anything to do with the trying to wipe out the whole Dutton family. They are making you think that but there will be a twist and it's definitely one of their many enemies who would kill for the ranch and hundreds of acres of property. It will be a well watch show from all of Yellowstone's hundreds of millions of fans.

And when he does save the ranch I think the writers will leave us with a season shocker wondering if Jamie was killed in a gun fight. I watched Kevin in an interview today explaining how Yellowstone was supposed to be a 10 episode series. He said after they started filming they knew that the story of Yellowstone had more depth to it than 10 episodes. And I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad he realized that.

How they are going about script writing and having the actors do what seems best at the moment is working very well! The chemistry with each of the actors makes the series more realistic and addicting to watch. There’s a lot of awesome talent that these actors contribute in making Yellowstone one of the best shows to watch.

Now typically when my mom tells me about a show and wants me to watch it I usually don't pay her no mind. Because 9 times out of 10 she watches boring shows but for Yellowstone I have to thank her for introducing me to this show because it's without a doubt one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.

Apparently, many (although not all) of the scenes are filmed in Utah & not Bozeman Montana. Only know this, as my sister and Brother in law own land in Bozeman & my oldest niece and her fiance live and work in Bozeman.

When I first scrolled to figure out what I wanted to watch, I came upon Yellowstone. I watched a part of the first episode and thought I wasn't going to enjoy this show and stopped watching. Spending my Thanksgiving with my son and family, that show came up and they were raving about it. I decided to give it another shot and boy in glad I did. One of the best series I've seen and waiting with anticipation for Season 4 and when I can watch 1886 with Tim and Faith. Amazing, amazing, and amazing 👏

I believe that when actors drop their script and react like they would in their real life. Kevin Costner is such an excellent actor and reacts in movies like it is something that has actually happened in his life. He has been in so many wonderful movies. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are such. good method actors and I so hope he doesn't die in the show. Yellowstone will never be as good as it is without RIPS personality and the love of Beth's character.
I can't wait for the 5th installment.
The scene where Rip ran over the bikes was planned well in advance. If you notice, the brush guard is actually changed for the type of guard seen on tow trucks with a heavy rubber covered bumper below the grill guard. Also, below that is a metal frame work designed to keep the bikes from getting under the truck and causing it to lose steering. It disappears later in that scene. The actors may not have known it was going to happen, but it had plenty of planning ahead of time.

If Cole asked if the motorcycles were covered by insurance then they definitely discussed the scene ahead of time. As you said, probably only they knew so it would be a surprise, and it was a good one, but not off the cuff as they want you to believe.
I don't care I loved it. It was so Rip...whom I love to watch.
For me personally, I think the improvisation makes it more believable, real and spontaneous. There's a lot of trust between Sheridan and his actors. All high caliber if I may say so.

Being sterilized should never be a requirement of a facility that performs abortions. That facility was meant for the Native American women who asked for an abortion. That sterilization demand was not fair to them either!

Or make them abort bc they were too young. BTW, wasn't Beth's mother already dead when this happened? Also, adding that Sterilization could have been tubes tied. Perhaps that's all it was. However, since Beth... I'm certain has had female exams since she's been an adult. One would think she'd know if she had a uterus at this age. This leads me to believe it was a complete hysterectomy. Or at the least, a partial one. I don't agree with previous statements that she wouldn't be up walking around... I had a complete hysterectomy and was on my feet the next day, even back to work in a week. I guess it's all in how a woman handles pain, & if they're looking for empathy/attention, etc. Also, if complications occurred. Just saying... wasn't a big deal to me. the procedure was a breeze.

The imprompted senses all fit in so well they didn't look at all imprompted. No one knew, shows excellent acting held by all. The only good thing about the shows long delay this summer in my opinion is, that we still get to see it in November otherwise it would now be over till next season...... looking so forward to seeing Yellowstone, the best show on TV. ♥️

While I did root for Teeter I feel I need to let you know most bikers aren't always that disrespectful. I lived 24 yrs as a biker raised 4 kids who are polite & Christian. As in all walks of life there's gonna be an ass somewhere in the group.😁 l do LOVE this series I actually bought it & am impatiently waiting for each weekly installment ! Thank you all for such great entertainment💋
Of course the bikers in that episode were supposed to be closer to the 1% ers type. Good sweet Christian bikers wouldnt have cut the fence in the first place...which is exactly why theyre NOT IN THAT EPISODE!! Wheres the story and drama in that?
@@darrellr.bacon4677 oh yea most of our friends were 1%ers but we were independent no clubs 🤔 but now you mention it now the kids all have their own families they tell me their "Pops" is looking to join the prominate Texas club, I could hardly believe it oh well 😁

Once I started watching Yellowstone I told my entire family about it from my sister and brother to my son who lives half the nation away from me. Everybody totally loves it almost as much as me. I have the first 3 seasons dvds and have watched them all I dont know how many times. I loved Sons of Anarchy too but Yellowstone might be a tiny bit more favored. Ive also watched SOA all seasons over and over again too. Love em all.

This 1st 2 episodes of Yellowstone were absolutely Incredible I am a Montana resident and I agree with John and a lot of ways Devoted Yellowstone fan
Ive personally never seen Montana except in movies and such but I lived in Colorado for almost 15 years. My son was born and lived his whole life there and has seen more of it than I have. He was offered a job in Montana years ago and he went to Kalispell for the interview. He sent pictures from his phone but said Montana is even more beautiful than Colorado. I could believe that without alot of doubt. I could absolutely see and understand why you would fight so hard to keep it the way it is without the 'big city" crap killing the hell out of it and ruining it for all time. Montanans, for God's sake, destroy EVERYTHING that would attempt to turn Montana's beauty into just one more URBAN WHOREHOUSE. Keep it just the way it is so folks like me will hopefully one day get to come up there and see it for ourselves. I'd appreciate it.

Jamie didn't "perform" anything on Beth regarding the abortion, She asked him to take her to the reservation doctor, and they told Jamie that sterilization was a part of the rules there, and that it was required, when he went out to get Beth, he simply did NOT tell her that the procedure was also going to include a hysterectomy, and therefor she was unaware. So she blames Jamie for not informing her that was going to be included, forever ruining her ability to procreate.
Actually you missed out a very important point. Jamie originally took her to an abortion clinic in town. She refused to go there because she didn’t want her dad to find out. That is when he took her to the Indian reservation. I don’t think they did hysterectomy they simply sterilized her. Women only get hysterectomies in very serious situation because they need those hormones. But they do sterilize women and young girls when they get an abortion at the Indian reservation..
I have always thought it was ridiculous that people would be mad at Jamie. Beth refused to take responsibility for her actions because she did not want anyone to find out and she went to Jamie he was just a teenager himself trying to help his sister. Jamie did his best especially given how difficult Beth is.
Her being mad at him is her projecting her own self-loathing and inability to take responsibility for her own actions. Actually I think her character hurts the show. She is by far over-the-top and unrealistic. In real life people are not put up with the bullshit that she dishes out. Men and women would punch her in the face and kick her ass on a regular basis. She would get fired from jobs left and right. No one like her would become successful in real life. Especially not a woman.
@@nedhill1242 She clearly states in the show, that she had a hysterectomy, whereas just taking the uterus is still considered a partial hysterectomy, IE: leads to sterilization as well of course, leaving the ovaries will continue to provide those hormones.

A hysterectomy is a major operation. An abortion clinic doesn’t do that. It’s easy to sterilize someone. Yes. She may have had a hysterectomy. But not when she was a teenager at the abortion clinic. My God anyone thinks that is dumb. You don’t get a hysterectomy when you have an abortion. She went and had the abortion and walked back out. Hysterectomies are fucking surgery!

When the govt provides birth control on a reservation it comes with 1 major stipulation..the female MUST undergo steilization because the govt WONT PAY FOR A SECOND ABORTION TO THE SAME FEMALE ON A RESERVATION. Believe it or not, that is an absolutely TRUE FACT up through the 1980s. Do your homework..youll see it yourself.

I’m so in love with this show. Growing up on our place, raising Cattle, Hogs and Horses, this show had more realistic scenes than ppl realize. Taylor knows his stuff and it shows!!!!!!! All the way down to the barbed wire in 1883!!!
My FAVORITE SHOW EVER TO DATE!!!!! It’s a scene if my life, just not the train station and THE BRAND ON THE BODY! Had my Dad thought of it, he might have done it!😂😂😂
What was a big miss with season 4 Is not having a moment where RIP searches for Beth after her office was blown up. HUGE emotional miss.
At the time Rip didnt yet know Beths office was blown up.
I love how Beth and Rips love story play out. No games no separation and fighting.. just pure devotion and love and trust/loyalty ❤
I think the way they put the blame on Jamie is wrong. He was young. How was he supposed to know the potential risks? And... he was just doing what Beth asked for help with. I don't like the way Jamie is treated in the show, but that is what makes it so life-like; the fact that there are so many imperfect relationships and dysfunction. I love the show.

A lot of people keep saying Yellowstone is the best show of all time, while I agree that it is one of the best, it would sure be hard to say it's the best with competition like Justified, The Wire and most of all I think, The West Wing. But I think Yellowstone is right there with them.
Agreed. The Wire is five seasons of damn near perfection at work. The West Wing is too. Breaking Bad is always in that conversation and now so is Yellowstone.
Jamie didn't perform an abortion on Beth. He took Beth to an Indian health clinic and the policy there was if you got an abortion, you also got sterilized. Who said that Western movies are a thing of the past? Yellowstone is near to my favorite Western program and Kevin Costner is in my favorite Western movie of all time.
Yellowstone is the very best of the best shows on TV. Kevin Costner steals my heart in every production of films he is in. I hope they just continue to write season after season, after season, after season!!!!!
