It’s tricky cause in supernatural the established fact was that god created angels as their own beings so a human doesn’t become an Angel. While it would have been cool the verses rules wouldn’t allow for it and I think at that point Dean just wanted to rest finally so becoming an angel would go against those wishes
The werewolves don’t have are after they shift. Usually the have longer sideburns, pointed ears, sharpened teeth and their eyes start glowing but the eyes glowing is not essential to their shifting
