Last time i tried it i abandoned from embarrassment although im a good pudge player and have played lots of pudge 1 before ,have not tried it this patch and im 4k now so prolly not

I still dont understand why such little buffs, was enough to make him so strong apparently? was he just sleeped on before the buffs?
+3 base damage for laning is a huge deal, especially on a hero who already hits really hard, the buff on the flesh heap active makes it so even at just level 2 flesh heap you receive miniscule damage from bloodseeker's rupture, minimized damage from jugg ulti, and it goes on for tick based heroes, and of course the +2% buff on the rot slow combined with the rot AGHs just goes wonders, let's also not forget the buffs to eternal shroud making it a 25% damage resist item from 20% previously, also active cooldown reduced from 60 secs to 45 secs, you can use your imagination there
of course, pudge was alright before the patch, it's not just the direct buffs for pudge and his item/s, but also the nerf to current meta carries that made him rise up

Story time!
When i saw that pudge is now a pretty viable carry i played him almost every single time and for a few games i won but after that i went into a 10 game loosing streak as a pudge carry so i stopped playing him and played other heroes, after that i played pudge again and this time i went to a 3 game loosing streak then i won 1 game.
