I am currently trying to convert my friend to Islam. I really want him to be apart of this community and not be a sinner. Please pray for him to get onto the right path, InshAllah all will go well.
I know your intention is very good, but you can't convert someone to Islam, only Allah can guide the hearts. All you can do is to explain everything to him then continue with the dua.
Apparently once you've tasted the sweetness of Salah it becomes addictive. You count down the minutes till the next salah. but unfortunately i haven't tasted this yet.
Tahra Ahmed please learn fiqh shalat. When you aware that you are struggling, but you succeed to keep your shalat in time, that the very first step to find a true du'a. When you've found it, make du'a in the tahajjud for Allah make your steps easier to find a true peace in every ibadah. Wallahua'lam.

A sad thought that occurs to me every day is that my sister is a disbeliever. They haven't prayed in a very long time, in fact, they last time they prayed they were seven (so basically they didn't even care because they weren't mature as a child)! She's eightteen now. They haven't prayed in my entire lifetime, and I'm eleven! Eleven years, that means my sister has never prayed sincerely ever, and she's an adult. Pretty sad. The thing also was just by seeing her behavior I stopped praying (every once in a while but I was forced to and it wasn't sincere), for about three/four years. Luckily I came back from watching some videos. It's scary because I could've missed that chance so easily. Allah Akbar.
Wow. I know this Sheikh Malik right? Anyways yeah salah is most important. I use to pray very quickly when I converted cos I thought it didn't matter and even my non-muslim sisters where telling me this. Even them and I never wanted to accept that but when I learnt more about the importance of salah, I started to do it properly. And O! I've heard in Bengladesh recently that a lightning stroke an imam and was it 7 others? While praying. But masha'Allah at least they died in the best state.
I was a christain and a friend coworker before he talk to me about islam and i new it is what it is one god allah i em a muslim 3.6 years i dont drink alkohol dont eat pork i try to do and life halal in europ it is hard i made many sins may allah forgive me for the sins and all our sins muslim ore non muslims but i never complited my 5 prayer make for me dua because i know hou seruis it is not to pray and that allah makes my life easy for to go to jannah i dont need anythink from this world only for the next one i em a fraid that i never feeld the tast of salah and that my familie becomes muslim so that allah haz mercy opon then i dont say that allah will not have mercy on non muslim but and let us make dua for all men and woman on eart so that allah will have mercy opun us because hell is no place for human only if allah wants it to be
