I really like how when Yuan Xinyue makes a block-out or a mistake, she turns to her teammates and points to herself to admit that she made a mistake (even though no one is at fault in a team sport) while still maintaining an expression of determination and spirit. She also never showboats or acts arrogant even after a monster spike/block, just plays to her fullest and is in tune with the game. Good attitude!

As it turned out subsequently China won the world cup in every match, dropping only 3 sets (two to Brazil and one to the Netherlands) in the whole competition. What a top performance!
Zhu Ting is really really strong. She scored a lot of. Chinese women team win with her.
The best level for Chinese woman volleyball team ever in 2019. Very disappointments for Tokyo 2020 Olympic game for her performance due to the lack of new team members and the sickness of old team members of Chinese team. Wish they will recover soon.

@@ieletagovailoa8525 voronkova is also a better team player. Goncharova doesn't do anything for her team in terms of demeanor in the court. She doesn't hype up her team much.

No team is undefeated, and it is their fault but they will come back better than before with the presence of Zhu Ting...
@@Victor-Alvesn China's only flaw was keeping an injured Zhu Ting in, they beat Italy 3-0 without Zhu in the Olympics so really they didn't need her for the previous games, China has the deepest bench had they switched Zhu out earlier the outcome would've been different.

She didn’t TRY to be in the way. She was backing up to prepare for the next hit and found the ball getting out the line. She didn’t see the Russians girls coming across the net.
If you knew about volleyball you would know that the Russian player couldn’t take the ball (not as if they would not be able to, but it would have been a fault).

Comparing this with the 2021 Tokyo Olympics is a bit sad. Sad for China. They could have demolished Russia easily, just as they always do before. Must have been hard to lose to a team you use to dominate.

And I think that they did that on purpose for the next olympics, because they did well on “Challengers Cup” 1-2 weeks before the Tokyo Olympics. And also the 6 of them played on VNL 2021 and also did good but none of those worked at the Olympics

What's the difference between time out and technical timeout?
There are 2 set technical time outs every set, when 8 pts and then 16 pts are first reached. This sort of divides the set into 3 parts.
Time outs are called by the coaches and while each team get 2 a match, they can be called at any time. This gives them a chance to break the rhythm of the opposite team, immediately correct a mistake, give their players a rest, or implement new strategies.

I don't understand why Parubets is in Russian team. She's an outside hitter who has weak spikes and her first ball reception is even weaker. Something that is not a reputation of an outside hitter especially in a Russian team.

I like Russia and I like the Chinese I'm quite surprised that Russia didn't win I'm happy for the Chinese that they did but Russia to me is my home I am not partial Russians are good people too
Not surprising really. Russia hasn't win against China in major tournaments since 2016 (except 1 or 2).
Why are you surprised? China is the number one team in the world and always beats Russia pretty much every single time, most of the time in straight sets too.
