Join me in this video after taking on the challenge to fix @FreddieDobbs Triumph Bonneville T100SE. This motorcycle is the central focal point of his channel and has been right there with him on many adventures from all over Europe to the Sahara, across the Atlas Mountains to the local coffee shop!
In this video we get the exhaust situation sorted and the BSA/CCM gets new lever clamps and the Tank re-installed ready for the DGR.
If you wish to join us for the DGR either sign up to the Tamworth ride or a ride from other midlands dealerships which are heading to the Triumph HQ Hinckley factory.

I sincerely hope that Freddie appreciates your wonderful work and effort on the bonny, doesn't allow it to get into the state it obviously was before, a bit of mechanical sympathy is needed, you have achieved a minor miracle on that bike congratulations on your knowledge and skills 👍🏻
He better 🥊
So boring to read this kind of thing week after week
@@shedend3066 🤷🏻♂️ so don't read em then 😜
Agreed I can’t see how you can let your pride and joy get in that state .
I think @freddie will keep this in tip top condition now great work @works ride safe.
A quick rub down with a dirty rag and some WD40 every 10000 miles and jobs a good un!
Fantastic effort on Freddie's Bonnie ! Who would have thought such a 'posh' bugger could have inflicted such misery on that poor Triumph ....
Can't wait to see Freddie with you, when he gets the bike back
Can't wait to see it after Freddies had it for six months !😂
9:46 I like the strategically placed shrubbery concealing the tank badges! It's like the Stella Artois nudist advert. Nice idea with the choke button too - adds a personal touch.
Thanks Joe & Emily for all you beautiful work! Truly a magnificent finish on Freddie’s bike. Enjoy the DGR, the reveal & the day. Thanks❤️
Freddy is even out buying a new jacket for it 🤣
can't wait for the overall disclosure!
That engine sounds infinitely healthier than before!
It's always so much fun watching your videos, Joe! We especially love when Mrs. Joe makes an appearance ;) You're doing great work, man. The effects pedal mod was brilliant. I can't wait to see Freddie's expression when he sees his old/new bike.
Beautiful 🤩 on all counts looking forward to seeing you both at the weekend 😎🙏❤️
Incredible
O M G😮. Sounds amazing. 😎👍🏼
Hi Joe and Emily, been a follower since you took over repairing the bonneville, been glued to every episode, I know nothing at all about bikes I only ride wash and polish.
But really been interested in what you've been doing with the bike, and really looking forward to the re commissioning of the bonneville, you make a great team, and I love the questions your Mrs asks, asking all the questions us non mechanical minded bikers don't know but are wanting to hear and learn instead of going to garages all the time, will be watching with interest for your next project and what I can learn, hope to meet you one day keep up the good work really enjoying it. Blessings
Kudos to the Wurks Team!
Love that BSA. Really nice looking bike.
Already eager to know the next build! Great content.
Well done both. Great job done 👍
Freddy is going to love those Michelin Road Classic tires. They are my go-to tire for vintage bikes. Supper grippy and great on wet roads too!
The bonnie is looking awesome. Can't wait to see the finale.
What a cracking job. The choice of the amp knob was inspired. The only improvement would be a amp knob with 11 on it. Can't wait for the big reveal and looking forward to seeing the next adventure. Cheers.
Does that new enrichment knob go up to 11 though?
11“ or 11‘ ?
@dantedorado2609 it does indeed, its one louder 😂
Bugger you beat me to it!
A mini Wurks sticker woulda been sweeeet!!
It's a new motorcycle now
Excellent attention to detail.
I really hope Freddy appreciates and now cares for this bike after the huge efforts put in by the amazing WURKS team.👍
I used a tire air valve 8 ball cover for my knob.
Well done to you both… it has been a pleasure watching your videos in repairing Freddie’s Motobike…it was great to hear the engine running again and it being healthy…😅
Lovely work as usual... I'm in awe of your 60 hours or so of mechanic love given to the triumph, And it started 1st go ? It looked like an instant start up to me.... Magnificent indeed. Well done.
That’s looking good, great to see the fruit of many many hours coming together
Freddie has mentioned a few times he prefers quieter pipes … but I love it
Loved watching this restoration of the Bonnie. And looking forward to watching the next project
That Freddie’s a very lucky man, great job
You are a real artist!
That is the coolest enrichment knob there ever could be.
Did wonder about guitars and the Laney. Great as always.
3:46 🤣 indeed uniquely shaped. I'd think that would be risky?
What a terrific job! Congratulations.
CCM looking lovely.
Aye a proper CCM no Suzuki engine
Boss effect pedal knob 😎👍
Wish Freddie had the same aversion to his choice of foot ware as he does to louder pipes.
The pipes sound fantastic.
Brilliant video again, Freddie’s bike sounded awesome.❤
Fantastic job, I can't wait to see the unvail and Freddie reaction to it. Loving the videos 👍
Good morning from Los Angeles.
I assume that it started first go - it certainty sounds very healthy with the compression now being right. Can't wait to see the finale!
Just to let you know I got the stickers today,, I rekon I might be one of the furthest away here in Vic Australia,, Love the channel..
Nice to bump into at the Triumph bike night. Looking forward to the reveal. Well done with the build series
Really enjoyed watching this from the beginning.
Your shed is going to a happy one in about a week, onwards and upwards
Great work. Really enjoyable seeing all the updates. Well done
I bet you and Jeff Beck would have gotten along well. Thank you.
Quality feels good when you ride what you build well done
OOOoooooo......It sounds good Joe. It sounds real good.....
Super effort from both of you, love watching and I will be thinking about you guys next Sunday whilst I’m riding the DGR here in Oz 🙏🏽🤩
Great stuff. The engine start was fantastic !!
A massive well done to you both, the bike sounds great
I recently found your channel and love your work and authentic videos. The Scrambler you built was absolutely stunning. Hopefully this fall I'm going to get a 1200 scrambler xe. I'm 6'4 so that one will fit me well. I look forward to your ride in the DGR. hopefully I'll be able to participate locally next year as well. I ordered a sticker and look forward to displaying it. thanks for the amazing videos!
Fantastic work as usual I'm really looking forward to seeing (and hearing) Freddie's bike finished with the engine running and sounding as it should. At the moment I have a set of chrome crash bars that have some corrosion and ideally need replating (I'm also considering cerakote). May I ask where you had the lever perch saddle clamps replated. You and your lovely Wife are a teriffic partnership are growing a fabulous channel with super interesting content; long may it continue. 👍👍😁
Sweet 👍👍💪🏼
"Pretty much..." he's teasing us again!
Such a teaser!
'More like f&^%$d!' 😂😂 Great instalment guys. Gibraltar's now NOT on the list. Thank you!
Looking good guys....😊😊
Joe, help my girlfriend has an 09 Bonneville, where the pipe's Tora you put on Freddie's bike that were louder ? Keep up the great work on the channel 👍👍
Yeah they were a TORS set just be careful making sure you have the right down pipes.. ;P
Sounds good.
Sounding good!
Rock and roll!
Being nosey Joe, what is your day job? Really curious if it’s in anyway related to engineering? Love the series so much - can’t wait to see what’s next
@1:22 bottom right picture, Dubrovnik Croatia. I went there in 1990 just before the civil war when it was Yugoslavia!
I would love to see a restoration of bikes I owned back when - Batavus Mk4S or Yamaha FS1E (Fizzie) OR an RD350 LC - all bikes I would love to own again and I am sure my 60 years old Killing Joke punk rocker and oily Black Sabbath mates from Uttoxeter and Abbots Bromley (and beyond) who owned these bikes would love to see these bikes again.
Nostalgia overload.
Thanks 🙏 from Ruprecht the monkey boy presently in Namibia on my KTM 1190 Adv R
Greetings from Atlanta…..are we close?
Good progress! What does that knob do?
Hi, fantastic work. What handlebars did you fit to the Bonneville.
So Joe, what about the running in? Are you advising Fred or doesn’t it need it?
Is the unveiling still Tamworth Triumph joe 9am on the 19th?
Yes buddy!
Another great vid.....question how often is Triumph Bike Night On.
@nickaxe771 I believe its the first Wednesday of the month untill around September/October. Next one is 5th June 6-8pm. Everyone welcome, they do different themes last one was big bikes over 1000cc they haven't released the next one yet. Emily
Hi Joe
How do you go about replacing the tanks badges to the new type as you fitted on Freddie’s bike
Mine is exactly the same as his was and would like to fit the new style
Cheers Mark 👍
You didn’t mention how you sorted the bleeding of the brakes.
What's that shiny black thing in front of the BSA? 😂😂😂
Are you gonna leave the exhaust wrap on the bike?
Dont se and Thruxton systems differ?
Any tips on where to set/adjust those rear shocks?
I thought you could just fit adapters if mufflers don't point where you want 'em?
Ist that a 335 routing template???
What happened to the big reveal vid?
Hi Joel, nothing pal. We are editing footage we recorded Sunday now for a coming video. The live stream is there to view until its released
@@TheWurks Oh I seeee, gotcha. Loved Freddie’s reaction, I’d have been speechless too! You’ve done an amazing thing dude, your level of expertise is incredible.
@@joel.rundle thanks pal it means a lot!
It sounds sweet as a nut 👏🏻👏🏻
How much is this going to cost Freddie?
My guess is about 2.5k...without labour..🤔
Love to know the cost of parts and hours worked
Labour costs would stop repairs.
@@MotoTourIreland There fast approaches a time when new petrol Motorcycles will no longer be available that the term "not economically viable" will doubly mean nothing.. 😉
@@simoncaddick9085 Definitely. My main motorcycle is 22yrs old now (20yrs in my ownership). I will keep it on the road as long as I can. Environmentally more friendly to keep older machines on the road.
When is the reveal?
@martyntd5 Sunday 19t May at East Birmingham Triumph in Tamworth. We will be there from 9am GMT and the TH-cam live with the reveal will be at 9:30am GMT.
@@Lilgreenshed Thank you. 🙂
@@Lilgreenshedhave they got a bar for you Emily and will it be open for 9am
@@johngibson3837 that's a terrific idea to pitch, afterall it is a pub bike now 😀
Awesome series
