Ports in the vein are heaven sent when you need blood to be drawn frequently. I had one put in and I was so glad of that. The nurses could come while I was asleep and take blood if necessary with minimal disturbance of me. Sometimes I wouldn't even awaken or remember them taking blood. I get that ports cause a risk of infection, but if you're already on antibiotics and are going to need multiple IV blood draws and injections, I highly recommend having it installed. Especially if you don't like needles! It certainly saved me a lot of unnecessary suffering, for sure.
My son had Spinal Fusion surgery about 3 yrs ago when he was 16. We took him 2 Riley's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. They were amazing Drs like these Drs on here
This hospital sounds so well run. The nurses and Drs. And staff care so much for their patients. They follow through with care as long as they are probably through high school. I hope the little girl with Lymphoma is still in Remission. They are troopers.
Fascinating! I hope Imani and the other children do well and go on to live fulfilling lives. May God bless you all at Our Lady of the Lake..Alan,. U.K. 🇬🇧🇱🇷
You should always take your child to a children's hospital, especially in an emergency, many "adult" hospitals are not equipped to treat children, especially those under 10
Hi everyone its Maryanne i really love children they are so cute and very sweet I've always wanted to be a mum ever since i was a teen but my wish of being a mum is out of the window because of my swallowing condition i was born with and my hernia to god bless all of the nurses and doctors and the children to xxxxx😀👶🏼👶🏼👧🏼👧🏼👦🏾👦🏾👼🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣👣💖💝💜🧡💛💙💚🧚🏼♀🧚🏾♂👨🏽⚕👩🏽⚕
My son is going to be 50 years old he was born with that problem he's in the Union Plummer pipe better he goes to a chiropractor when he's shoulders are slanted and slumped over that works very well most back surgeries are an ongoing problem after you have them I've seen this happen my father was in the military he died with bullets in areas of his back and decided to exercise c chiropractors and massages and he worked at St Petersburg hospital but thank you for this film anyways I think there's always another way to go most times
I don’t think we take sickle cell anemia as serious as it truly is. Those patients are at the highest risk for a spontaneous stroke or organ damage whenever those cells block off the way to whichever organ, and it only shows as “pain” similar to what chest pain appears during heart attacks.
Depends on how you look at it...yes it's more of a spinal defect than a disease but it causes others things that are in that classification like hydrocephalus...they say it like that so people understand it's not just something that you can take a pill and it goes away,it's a life-long illness/disease/problem however you want to say it
Great Job All💜🥰💜

Sb is not a disease

It is. Depending on how bad it is!
I agree with you cause I have it to I also have hydrocephalus
Savannah M, to me it is a birth defect. How is it qualified as a diagnosis?
No. It's a birth defect or deformity.
