Out of all of those selections, and they definitely have a LOT, I'll take a big bowl of meatballs and some bread and I'll be a happy camper 👍. That was amazing, and just for breakfast. Thank you.
The meatballs were so good!! (I had one). All of the food quality is super impressive. Had sushi and sashimi last night and it was superb. Decent portions too so you can try lots of different stuff.
@@ChristineTurner Thanks again for the video. I'm back into my daily grind, so you won't be hearing from me as much, which is a good thing for your comment section. LOL Have a good day and enjoy the pool!
@@ChristineTurner lol. That sounds yummy!! Well, tomorrow night we are on our way. I flew for 15yrs and yet I still get those nervous excitment stomach flutters. Hoping that all goes smoothly. How has the weather been?
@@angiewebber3439 pretty consistently good. Rains maybe once a day lately so bring bug spray for sure. And after bite. Rain lasts for 10 mins. Power shower then it’s over and the sun comes back out. Super hot in the sun so pack a hat too!!
Hi Rene! I've stayed at Le Blanc, El Dorado, Grand Velas (in Cabo), and I have to say that this Hyatt rivals all of them. The chef & mixologist really put their heart & soul into what they produce - it's incredibly inventive, authentic, and, combined with amazing service, i don't think you could go wrong here. The steaks I had here certainly rivalled Ruth Chris in Cancun and various other steak houses I've eaten at - I can't say enough good things about this place! Here's a video on 'must try foods' from my stay there. th-cam.com/video/mKQ_L2itiJQ/w-d-xo.html Let me know if you have any other questions about this resort!
Looks like food is self serve. The other Hyatt Ziva on Cancun had shields and staff served all food (based on my May 2021 visit). Do you know if this changed across all Hyatt resorts in Cancun or only this resort?
This is the first one I've been to since March 2020 but I'll be at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos next month, so I'll definitely compare. Things may be changing since they have so few active cases in the tourist areas from what I've seen. This one was mostly made-to-order stations, or non-touch areas where they serve you but there were a few self serve stations. This was a great resort for Covid protocols though, with excellent spacing between tables and all staff wearing masks at all times. Really felt 100% safe and comfortable here!
HI Christine, If you were to choose Riu Dunmar or Hyatt Zivia Riviera, what would you choose. I am going in July with my 12 year old / Great reviews, I had to subscribe . Thanks
Hi Posh Posh! Sorry for the late reply! I would say hands down the Hyatt because I love that resort (staff, food, drinks, activities - all amazing!). Most kids clubs are a bit pedestrian but the Hyatt one did elevated activities like a hat-decorating class and tshirt making. Thanks for the sub!!
It’s called Afthonia and is the breakfast buffet in the morning and will be open for a la carte dining in the evenings once occupancy increases a bit. Also they will have lunch buffet here. No dinner buffet at this resort.
@@tanyaseal7871 there will be but it’s not open yet. I need to find out more about this. Things are moving along quite quickly and I reckon they’ll have most things ready in the next week or so. Very impressive to see it roll out!
@@tanyaseal7871 not open yet but I honestly think everything will be done in the next 10 days max. Every time I turn around, I see progress. Certainly moving at a faster pace than cap Cana but that was a new build so a different situation altogether.
Love to see the food live before we go somewhere
Thank you for the video 👍🏻
It’s my pleasure! Thanks for watching!!
The waiters and waitresses seem so nice a welcoming here!
Hi Edmon! They were all so amazing! BTW I just saw your email and will reply this morning! Cheers.

Is this at the old secrets silversands? Looks like the buffet area.
Well spotted! Yes it is - it closed a couple of years ago and they did a bunch of renovations and now it is Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun. Cheers!
Can Hyatt ziva riviera accommodate food allergy? Do you know?
Hi! Yes they are excellent with this! Just let them know and they will manage as needed!
