In the 70's the drinking age was 18 in Atlanta. This gave me the opportunity to go and hear lots of great artists at a relatively young age. Atlanta had a very thriving live music scene in those days, and Tinsley was one of the main people to see. He was kind of like the Stevie Ray Atlanta. I can not count the number of times I heard this man blow the roof off of the Harvest Moon Saloon, the Downtown Cafe, Rose's Cantina, the Moon Shadow, and some others. Going to hear Tinsley was always a great night out. And he was always a real nice guy too. First class human being! Can't say enough good things about the man!

Saw Tinsley a couple years back at a very small theater in the country outside Savannah, GA. He played this guitar most of the night and got one of the best live tones I’ve ever heard out of it. Criminally underrated player.

Got to open for Tinsley and band, a few years ago.
He is a great, great guitarist. He can cover many sounds and styles, so well. A real master of the game.

Tinsley must be thrilled that Gibson is putting out a limited-edition recreation of B.B.‘s Live At The Regal guitar. I hope he gets one.

Super cool. Always found the key to playing like B.B. was just using 3 fingers on the frets and all downstokes😎

Tinsley buy a Lab Series L-Amp if you really want to sound like BB King. He used it

You don't sound like BB King's guutar. You have too much twang. Listen to "The Thrill is Gone" by him and you'll understand sir.

      That’s 70’s BB king.
Listen to “Everyday I Have The Blues”
1955 which is early BB King which i think he was going with.
Super twangy. I think he nailed the tone
