This series has so much potential. My one critique is that the music drowns out the conversations a bit and I think it could be turned down a bit. Other than that though, really enjoying it so far!

If Chris' daughter had like a severe anger complex, it would match with Oliver needing approval while trying to keep her nicer, like instead of listening to Chris she ends up listening to Oliver on what he comes up with

TESS IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!
With this episode doing the Awake-a-thon from Total Drama Island, we've got some good interactions. Still loving the dynamic between Rosa, Lake, and Maggy. Hunter's growing friendship with Ally is nice, bonding over games and her channel. Kai helping Maggy cheer up is cute and I enjoyed Connor calling out Yul like that. Riya and Connor's talk was pretty good for him and they bonded well with the whole "fish out of water" situation they're both in.
This is just a theory:
imo, I feel like something bad is going to happen with the love triangle between Hunter, Ally and Tess. I think Hunter will have feelings for Tess, but since he can't get close to her because she would push him away, he goes with Ally. Then Tess realizes her mistake and tries to be with Hunter, and it creates a drama because Hunter and Tess could kiss near Ally and she finds out and cries and all wrong, God I HOPE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN :(

I actually agree with this theory now that I think about it because I low key do kind of feel like Tess also has feelings for it but doesn’t want to admit it which is why she distance herself from him. But yeah their could be a chance that she might eventually warm up to him more probably. If so, then good for her I guess but poor Ally :( I can’t imagine how she would react to pretty much being friend zoned by Hunter…. We’ll just have to see what happens I guess
I liked this episode, Oliver's work, Tess avoiding friendship, Awakening's challenge, Yul suppressing his team, Connor and Riya with their recognitions, James and Aiden's fight, and Karol's elimination that was not as satisfactory as I thought, this will already be amazing!

Kinda bummed about Karol. She was the toughest in that team without question, and just when we got to see some development, poof she's gone. :/
That aside, the episode was spot on. Nice to see a plethora of interactions outside of the challenge, very diverse! Its also great there's a 20 minute mark on (hopefully) each episode. If there's something I would criticize it's that a couple voice actors seemed a little off, pronunciation-wise, and the music sometimes drowned out the dialogue.
9/10, keep up the drama! :)

Kai is probably one of my favorites. I like him because he's calm and sedate. I mean, he's like Candle from Inanimate Insanity. I honestly think that's who he reminds me of.

Kai and Maggy's conversation was pretty sweet. I don't mind where their relationship goes but I hope to see more with them. And it was cool to see Connor be more than a bumbling old guy, he's actually someone with a lot of experience with people and assholes like Yul. Kristal and Oliver's relationship looks like it will be a lot of fun. Really it was just nice to see more interactions between the campers, which I suppose is the point of the more "laid-back" challenges like this. I'm no too upset that Karol was eliminated cuz I figured she'd be one of the early eliminations. I am curious about what's going to go on between Aiden and James from now on.

Besties I'm so damn scared, because next we'll have the third episode, and it is obvious someone from the green team will leave, the only person who could leave and who wouldn't hurt me so much is Kai. Hunter, Ally, Tess, Riya and Connor need more screen time and I want their friendship to last longer, Yul is the one in charge of bringing the drama, it is clear that he cannot leave, yet.

This episode was great. I really like the Hunter/Ally ship way more than I thought RIP Karol I thought she might have gone further as some sort of antagonist. Rooting for Ally Hunter and Aiden to go far. Hoping for James to leave soon, but I think Kai is out next.
Karol really deserved better. I thought she was one of those sort of rude protagonists, who was really nice on the inside.

XDD Christal so far is interesting with her wanting to be not like her father which is understandable ,, watching this, aiden and karol's dynamic is interesting, and karol being a rough person around the other contestants yet being soft around animals is cool, i liked her design the most,its sad to see her go early on👍
I agree! I hope Aiden and Karol can reconcile in the future and mend their short lived friendship! I love Karol too it’s super interesting how she’s similar to both DJ (with his love of animals) and Eva (with her attitude) even though the two are polar opposites! :)
