Kraft is to be admired for admitting his mistake and taking responsibility, it's rare these days to see any leader do that.

Coaching is motivating, strategizing, and developing. They should be good at all of those things. To me, the biggest issue with Mayo was how poorly the O line played, and how they never improved at all throughout the entire year. If you can't make your worst players get better, you can't coach.

He clearly was not ready for the situation. The team had no line no receivers no pass rushers. Then you’re putting a first year head coach with a young 22-year-old rookie quarterback. It was a horrible move.

Or trash is just trash. 90% of the players on the offensive line don't belong in the league.

You can’t coach talent/size/strength/speed into people. If it was that easy every player would have equal ability. The oline gets better by drafting good oline players.
If you want to blame someone for the oline, it’s not Jerod, it would be the oline coaches.

It was the right move. Jerod wasn’t ready and it wouldn’t be fair to him to try and grow on a tight leash and the fan base against him. I wish him luck and hope he can coach elsewhere if he decides to.

Fair or not, it was a move that HAD to be made. The path forward with Mayo was way too slow and tangled. The mistake was that stupid contract language Kraft gave Mayo. That was where things went wrong.

For all the success we've had we should know better that's the confusing part about all this

Jerod Mayo had an opportunity... players get cut brutally too. It's like show business where the World is your competitor.

They need someone to bring discipline without being too heavy handed. They can’t have players going at the fans.

Paul, you lose a game on purpose by going for it on every 4th down, saying you were just trying to be aggressive wink wink, even in your own end. By running on 3rd and long. By punting instead of kicking 45-55 yd field goals. Think Paul.

Also replace Milton with Brissett, take out Boutte, Hooper and Douglas run the ball on third and long don't throw it down field..... there's a half a dozen ways they could have lost but you don't leave a guy (Milton) that's balling with something to prove in there

It wasn't that Mayo wasn't a good coach he wasn't ready yet it was asking a line cook to be the head chef

Fire Wolf and everyone else in the personnel department. Changing the coach isn’t going to help these picks. The guys they’ve been drafting and signing haven’t been working out for years

    The draft order is over.
