The characteristic of k-drama is that it makes sad emotional scenes very well. What's even more amazing is that he uses music to maximize that sad feeling. Those who usually watch a lot of k dramas will probably understand enough.

The cop is still alive and washes up on the shore. The police find him and bring him back to consciousness, he is questioned by the chief of police in the hospital who mentions that he only manages to receive one message he sent from the island due to poor signal. They manage to get a location on the island and plan a raid. Gi-hun determined to destroy the games once and for all begins to plan an attack on the island but struggles due to the fact that he is one man. He turn on the news to hear about the detective washing upon the shore and is alive, he quickly rushes to the hospital he is staying at to see if he is ok. The police find the island only to find that it has been abandoned as well as all the secret bombs hidden throughout. In-Ho now in charge relocates to their backup island further away from Korean jurisdiction and proceed to continue the games, he becomes nervous when he hears the news of his cop brother surviving the fall. Meanwhile Joon-Ho and Gi-Hun start to come up with a plan to raid the island themselves without police intervention fearing that a massive raid would cause the game soldiers to blow up the island and kill more people than necessary. They recover Joons phone where he sees the photos taken of all the past winners and people who dropped out of the games via voting and never returned from the previous season and come up with a plan to get them to participate again and follow them to the new island, but they know it is a hard ask since no one wants to return in fear of risking their lives and they will need to act fast in order to save as many players as possible.
    More to come…

Posted this comment on another video, but I think it is essential to know this to understand Ali and Sang-Woo's relationship because the subtitles don't do it justice.
"Ali called out "Hyeong", which is a very special nickname you give to an older male you're very close to or your actual older brother. Knowing this while watching Ali looking like a lost little brother calling out for his older brother, makes the scene even more intensely emotional for those of us who understand what "Hyeong" means."

Yeah Sangwoo took advantage of Ali's stupidity/naiveity or whatever u call it and Gihun took advantage of old man's apparent dementia or tried to at least. Is there really a difference in intent there? Btw funny how tattooed face Deoksu is the one who actually won the game cleanly, fair n square lol. Well Saebyeok too of course since Jiyeong sacrificed herself

One is a young man with a wife and kid, his entire future ahead of him and the other is an old man with not much time left on earth anyways. I do feel like it's a bit different, not in intent if you look at it technically but everything isn't that black and white.

As far s I'm concern, he's stupid for trusting Sangwoo in a desperate life or death situation or anyone u are competing against 1v1 in Squid Game. I suppose u can also say Gihun took advantage of old man's trust because the old man believed everything he said. Or Gihun was led to think so at least

To make it even more sad is the fact that.. at first, Ali called Sang-woo "boss" but here he calls him "Hyung" (this didn't appear in the caption) In fact, Koreans were sadder because of this. This is because the expression "Hyeong" is used for full brothers or very close elders. It was so sad to see him call Sang-woo "Hyeong" until he died 😢😢😢
